Big A HG
but scsu did sweep them earlier this season. We lost to a lot of teams worse than SCSU earlier this season as well. But things change when the end is near.

I know. just trying to be positive. I don't see us winning the title outright. if we do it will be shared as Denver won't lose more than one. SiouxFanatic
Denver is too good to lose to SCSU and I don't see them losing a one-game rivalry series for a MacNaughton. Not as convinced as you are that Denver is too good to lose to the likes of SCSU. It's not like SCSU isn't going into the series with no goals in mind. They are vying for home ice in the first round of the play-offs. I thought Denver was too good to lose against UAA at Magness. I was belatedly wrong. Now I'm not saying SCSU is gonna sweep DU but I definitely think they can take one game for a split. And even if it is just one game against CC. It is still a game against there arch rival. Anything can happen even with the MacNaughton on the line.
HaksHomey
Denver is too good to lose to SCSU and I don't see them losing a one-game rivalry series for a MacNaughton. Are we to assume that CC couldnt win a one-game rivalry series to spoil the MacNaughton cup?
Big A HG
Are we to assume that CC couldnt win a one-game rivalry series to spoil the MacNaughton cup? Well, it'll be either us and Denver, or CC and Denver, and it will come down to this series. Most likely it will be us and Denver, and I just don't think CC is going to be able to beat Denver. It's just my opinion. But, that's why they play the games.

Goon
wow the gophers at scsu for a first round series-that means the gophs would make the final five. Hum, I dunno I think Minnesota would be hard pressed to beat SCSU the way they have been playing. I wouldn't just mark down the goofs as making the Final Five. jimdahl
This is probably sandbagging, but I'm only giving UND 4 in the next two weekends. Super-tough to win at Kohl Center and UW will be playing for as much as we are. UND 37 Denver 37 UW 34 UMD 32 CC 31 SCSU 29 UMN 29 Mankato 22 AA 19 MTech 10 The purple cows reign of terror comes to an end, splitting with SCSU and getting swept by the Badgers. So much for tonight's PWR gain. The Gophers buy those pads that look like the net for their goalies and manage to split with the Bulldogs and pull 3 from MTech. CC collapses down the stretch, splitting with Sioux and failing to knock off DU, leaving DU tied with UND for the MacNaughton.
