Sioux-cia Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I just shook my head when I heard that. Wooger is getting dumber with age. ..or just drunker and blind! Quote

Hayduke Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Frank: "Kangas getting the seive chant" Woog: "I'm not sure he deserves that" Deserve has nothing to do with it! Or some Clint Eastwood line like that.... BTW, Denver 1 Mich Tech 0... Quote
Hambone Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I'm definitely going to enjoy going to work on Monday. I can agree with that Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Great period for the Sioux. 3rd period could get chippy, and I need it to be done by 10:30p.m. (EST) as that's what time the Devils game starts! Quote
wsdSIOUXfalls Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 2nd period over - with no penalties! Quote
greatest sioux fan Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 They just said the goofers are playing without stoa. Did he get thrown out, or was he injured? Sorry, I didn't see the whole game, and don't know what happened. Quote

Sorry, I didn't see the whole game, and don't know what happened. Stoa had to sit out with an injury. Got to love this Sioux team! And it's so great to see Kozek scoring again...the Rifleman is back! redwing77 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I hate making blind analysis, but can someone prove or disprove this theory: This weekend's gopher woes are not on the shoulders of Kangas. UMN's team D is just nonexistant. My premise for this is that, really, I can't remember the last time Minnesota had outstanding stay at home defense. All of their defensemen have been strong puck movers and solid in the offensive zone. Quote
Hayduke Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Injured? Yeah....right. Denver 1, Michigan Tech 1... 1st period almost over. Quote
HaksHomey Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 are the sioux this good, or do the gophers just suck? regardless... this is great Quote

Kangas faced a LOT of rubber last night...and he's already seen a bunch tonight. Not much defense from goldy, and that means not much offense either. The Sioux are running roughshod over the gophers both nights thus far. AND I LIKE IT! Quote
redwing77 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Not to be snippy or a thread cop, but... I don't think we need to take pot shots at Stoa anymore. He's not playing. Bush league or not, Stoa doesn't apply to this game. Quote

Hayduke Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I don't want to start any nasty rumor, but what's going on with Coach Lucia? Quote

Bush league or not, Stoa doesn't apply to this game. The postgame comments bordered on dangerous so of course it is going to be a topic of discussion. If an NHL player made a statement like that there would be league action against both the player and the team. There may be more fallout from his actions yet and he brought all the speculation and posts upon himself. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Shots: 20-13 Sioux Scoring Chances: 12-7 Sioux Faceoffs: 33-21 Sioux Turnovers: 17-12 Gophers Score: 5-0 Sioux! Quote
