Sioux_Hab-it Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 If you touch a puck after your own player makes contact with a high stick the play is immediately dead. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 We have to stop taking stupid penalties. The line-change penalty is an example of not paying attention to what is happening on the ice. Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 we'll see what this team is made of here. got to get one, don't settle for 1 point tonight. Quote
gopherz Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 How do you even argue that??!?! WTF HAK!! Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 If you touch a puck after your own player makes contact with a high stick the play is immediately dead. Interesting thought. Going by the rules, play should have been dead before the puck crossed the line. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 How do you even argue that??!?! WTF HAK!! Same way Sandy was arguing the checking from behind. He's the coach, that's his job! Quote

nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 going to overtime. we need two points here. Quote
sioux rube Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 going to overtime. we need two points here.Take 2 but 1 is better than none. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I just saw the replay and it should have been whistled dead as soon as Eidsness touched the puck. Quote
DAR Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I expected a lot more from LaPoint this year. He is off to a rough start. Same with Marto. We really are missing Finley. Eidsness has been solid tonight. Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 big faceoff here. tired line for the dogs. lets go sioux!! Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 I'd like to see a replay of that last one. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Just how many times in this game are we going to allow the Dogs to skate right into the slot with the puck? Eidsness has had to bail our butts out of trouble over and over again. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Game over. 1-1 OT Tie. This one got away from us. Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 2-2 tie. not a good end. top line played great. eidsness was great. end of the third was a letdown. well lets get 3 points this weekend. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 tie Laugh it up funny guy. Nothing makes me laugh harder then the brown and yellow fold every spring. Quote

Irish Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Anyone else as frustrated as I am as to how we managed the 3rd period. I'm tired of waiting for Hak and Company to get their crap together. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Fans look totally different. 'Dog fans acting like they won the game. Sioux fans look like they lost it. Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Did we not learn from last spring that you CAN NOT depend on your goalie to win the game for you?...defense-step up and help him out, offense- step up and score! We had a good game, but I am sick of this playing bad until January and then turning it on, we need to learn how to turn it on before that! Quote
DAR Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Opps, you're right. I think this cold is getting to me, I can't think straight. As all us die hard Fighting Sioux fans know...this team has a long ways to go. If we can slip into the top five, that looks like where things are headed. Props to Eidsness he played well. No doubt he is the starter. Quote
