Goon Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I was wondering if anyone knows if we HAVE TO take our political signs down before tomorrow if we live in ND? Thanks in advance.
petey11 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I was wondering if anyone knows if we HAVE TO take our political signs down before tomorrow if we live in ND? Thanks in advance. I got an email on this earlier today and they are supposed to be taken down by midnight tonight.

Goon Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 you still have your obama/biden sign up? I had one sign up and it was a Duane Sand sign. There was an obama Biden sign down the street...
Hammersmith Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 My favorite political sign: http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp10282008.shtml
captsioux Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 State law in ND states that all political yard signs must be down by midnight tonight.
Goon Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 My favorite political sign: http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp10282008.shtml I really like that one...
wyomingsiouxfan Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 It's true that the political signs in ND have to be down by midnight. It's not political signs that I'm sick of, it's ALL of these stupid political commercials on TV. Being in the Denver market with Colorado being a battleground state, it's been almost unbearable. I can't wait until it's over, but make sure you vote!

Only on the eastern side of the state... Out west they don't have to put up with it.
ChicagoSiouxFan Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 State law in ND states that all political yard signs must be down by midnight tonight. That is absolutely one of the worst laws I have ever heard. I don

Dayton bought the seat for only $9 million 6 years ago by scaring seniors. Seems cheap this year. oh well - lets see what the hollywood elite does this time if the pundents are wrong again - but they probably are right this time I'm afraid soon we will all be working for the government, our guns confiscated and buying groceries with eurodollars.
wyomingsiouxfan Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Down here there is a nasty senate race, a nasty house race, and of course the presidential race. END THE MADNESS ALREADY!

If Obama loses, we will be lamenting the "Riots of 2008". That said, I think Obama wins.
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I voted absentee, so mine is in there doing all it can.
UND92,96 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 The last time I checked, this board had a strict "no politics" policy, didn't it?
jimdahl Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 The last time I checked, this board had a strict "no politics" policy, didn't it? No kidding -- all the posts about how much people hate "the other guy" removed. It's crazy to me that a topic like this or about the economy can't exist without people going on rants about how much they hate politician x or candidate y, but so be it.
