porter and oshie in tonight st. louis

kariya - berglund - perron

tkachuck - oshie - backes

stempniak - mcdonald - boyes

king - mcclement - porter

coach murray explains

http://www.stltoday.com/blogzone/morning-s...hat-make-sense/

*This allows Tkachuk to play on the left wing, where he wants to play. It allows Oshie to play center, which was his position in college and where he truly wants to play. And it keeps Tkachuk together with Backes, which the Blues like.

It's too bad, but I think Bo will be a career AHLer with some short stints in the NHL due to injuries.

I wish I could say that he never got a fair shake, but he did in several locals and it didn't work out.

I still think he has an NHL caliber shot, but I guess his defensive abilities and his skating never developed like it should.

What's also a shame is that the NHL is out of reach but the AHL isn't challenging him enough either.

Maybe he should go overseas to Sweden or Finland? Or maybe the new Russian pro league :silly:

oshie with first point of pre season with an assist and a huge hit that put a leafs player on the ice for a while. wow

dammm, oshie just put a sick move on the leafs goalie and lost the puck and the blues lose in a shootout, was online for free

I read that he didnt score on his shot, DARN, but i didnt see it, is there a video of it anywhere?

Is Oshie playing well? I have seen berglund on the scoresheet a few times this preseason but no Oshie???, Chris Porter has also been on the score sheets which is great, but no Oshie.

I hope Berglund isnt out playing Oshie!! but i guess the coaches must be impressed with him when they put him on 1st line with Tkachuk

osh should be on the 2nd line with keith and another dude. he has played well but has missed out on points until tonight. im guessing porter will be sent down but maybe he can grab a 4th line spot. we will see. osh is good as they dont care if berglund or oshie is tearing it up, they want both as both are very important to their future. it is not a competition. they need all the help they can get
