Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Miami dominating the early going. RedHawks 22-0 this season when scoring first. Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I know this has been stated before, but I really like Buccigross and Melrose working the games. Quote
HaksHomey Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Miami dominating the early going. RedHawks 22-0 this season when scoring first. Well, that's against the likes of the Alaska-Fairbanks and the Western Michigans of the world, we'll see though the CCHA will have more frozen 4 participants than the WCHA Quote
talksalot83 Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 This SopCast thing is cool. My quality kinda sucks, but oh well! Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 13:00 to play in the first period, still 1-0 Miami. Shots are 7-1 in favor of the RedHawks. Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Zatkoff with two big saves for Miami. Boston College has put together two or three good shifts in a row, and has tilted the ice back the other way. Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I don't like that call. Melrose is making a good point - the taller player gets called for a crosscheck against the shorter player. BC power play. As coaches often say, hits like that are the penalties the guys love to kill off. Quote
HaksHomey Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I think both of these teams would be fun to play... both sides playing physical Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I agree. This has been a physical, up-tempo contest from the drop of the puck. Very entertaining. Quote

BC power play. As coaches often say, hits like that are the penalties the guys love to kill off. I'm ok with the call. It seemed like he brought his arms up a little bit, which put the stick right at the other guys neck. It's just not a safe hit. Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Great line about Ryan Jones from Buccigross: Mullet on loan from Melrose! Quote
siouxbear1 Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Hair Bear He's growing it out for a kid that has cancer and will be donating it to him after his final game. Locks of love I believe it's called. Quote

Great Cause. Ugly Look. Good for him though... I can see Finley grabbing those locks and pulling him around the rink by the hair Quote
mygarske Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 This SopCast is great! How's the saying go, necessity is the mother of invention? Redfrog is owed a LOT of beers from many of us cable handicapped Sioux fans. Redfrog, anyone tried tinkering around with the settings to see if we could sharpen up the picture at all? It's O.K. in the small screen, but in full screen the it gets kind of fuzzy. And seeing all of the buttons I'm tempted, but don't want to screw anything up in fear of not being able to get the picture back for the REAL game tonight. Any help appreciated! Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Miami with a great chance in the slot - Muse with the big glove save. Quote
The Whistler Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 He's growing it out for a kid that has cancer and will be donating it to him after his final game. Locks of love I believe it's called. Still an Hair Bear! Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 1:38 to go in the first. BC on the power play again. Quote
