Buddy said it happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. He gets elbowed ot the back of the head and his neck just SNAPPED back. Apparently the hit was much worse in person than it looked on TV. Friend right next to the ice said he hasn't even flinched yet but he can hear him talking, says he's sayin somethin about his neck (obviously) but can't really hear. Lots and lots of concern down there.

Elbow in the back of the head, this his head snapped back?

Helmet fell off, then his head hit the corner of the boards with no glass by the bench and his head snapped. That's how it was explained to me.

So the elbow knocked it off and he fell into the boards, make sense?

Yup. Makes sense now. Thanks.

A lot of blood being cleaned up...

Just saw the replay, and yea, when he went down, he was already unconcious.
