Apparently the hit was much worse in person than it looked on TV. Friend right next to the ice said he hasn't even flinched yet but he can hear him talking, says he's sayin somethin about his neck (obviously) but can't really hear. Helmet fell off, then his head hit the corner of the boards with no glass by the bench and his head snapped. That's how it was explained to me.
