#1fan Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Here comes the cart. Let's just hope it's all ,precautionary. Hate to see any kid get hurt. Quote
greatest sioux fan Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I did see the replay, and I can tell you he didn't do it intentionally to hurt the guy (like punkobitch did). It looks like he was either going down already, or just had his head turned the wrong way. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Buddy said it happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. He gets elbowed ot the back of the head and his neck just SNAPPED back. Apparently the hit was much worse in person than it looked on TV. Friend right next to the ice said he hasn't even flinched yet but he can hear him talking, says he's sayin somethin about his neck (obviously) but can't really hear. Lots and lots of concern down there. Elbow in the back of the head, this his head snapped back? Quote
gopherz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Elbow in the back of the head, this his head snapped back? Helmet fell off, then his head hit the corner of the boards with no glass by the bench and his head snapped. That's how it was explained to me. So the elbow knocked it off and he fell into the boards, make sense? Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Helmet fell off, then his head hit the corner of the boards with no glass by the bench and his head snapped. That's how it was explained to me. So the elbow knocked it off and he fell into the boards, make sense? Yup. Makes sense now. Thanks. A lot of blood being cleaned up... Just saw the replay, and yea, when he went down, he was already unconcious. Quote
Upper Deck Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 The Sioux are looking good, playing with a fire lit under them. Teslak is making lots of saves this period. Quote

So the elbow knocked it off and he fell into the boards, make sense? It looks horrible on the replay too... Quote
Trunk Monkey Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I just saw the replay - my heart goes out to the player and the team. Wow that was brutal. Quote

jk Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 UND with a ton of good pressure, plenty of odd-man situations, but need to get some in the net soon. Quote
UMDDogz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 2 minutes of PP now left on the major. Gophers with some sustained pressure, even during the 4x4. Quote
woodbutcher Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Somebody needs to tell Hennesy (sp) its like a trip and a dive.....the hook and holding stick penalty. Quote
UND83 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 OK, back to the Sioux. 2-1 Sioux Lead with 6:05 left in the second Quote
UMDDogz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Gophers can't count...and take a too many men penalty. Not as bad as the one tDogs took last night though... Quote
gopherz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Gophers with some sustained pressure, even during the 4x4. Taking stupid penalties like mad, its unbelievable. Some of these are garbage... Quote

BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I've seen more passing attempts fanned on in the last three games than I have all season. Let's see if we can kill another penalty. Quote
