AZSIOUX Posted February 17, 2008 Author Posted February 17, 2008 Do you think the first line is going to see much ice time vs BSU? I believe they haven't in the past(?). bsu isnt a pushover. they play the sioux tough all the time. you go into these games with the same mentality and drop 4-6 per game on them and get the 2 wins. i start phil bith games and if we get up then throw walski in for a priod or 2. dont let up 1 bit. 2 more non conference games we need to win and then its time for the real stretch run in duluth and vs scsu. we will win the 6 remaining games just like i said we would win 7 in a row going into minny. this team has one goal and thats hoisting the trophy in denver. I believe they haven't in the past(?). we will see them as much as any other series, these are 2 huge games come the pairwise and rpi. all the good we did this past weekend would be for not if we drop one to bsu. This is a huge weekend for the playoff implications. That being said the team knows it's important but we have seen some letdowns from them in the past. There's fourteen more games left to be won by my count. Quote
siouxnami Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 What are the odds we have a Forney siting vs BSU? Freudian slip? Quote

Millsy Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 I could probably surf a little and find this out, but I thought I would post and get an answer. Do the Sioux have an internet video feed of their games from the Ralph? I am unable to attend the games this weekend (work) and would like to watch the games instead of just listening to the Internet audio broadcasts. Thanks! Quote

He's said it a couple of times in the past 2 months, but not sure if he'll stay on that course. Won't surprise me if he does give Walski a start, but it won't surprise me if he doesn't either. I think if our entire team shows up, it won't matter if Walski or JPL is in net against BSU. Quote

I believe it's $5.95 per game. You have to register first, and some people have had problems, so I'd suggest you try registering well before the weekend. Quote
The Whistler Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 these are both here in GF right ? I've got tickets for both games in the season ticket package! Quote
AZSIOUX Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 ticket info per brad http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/ Ticket availability for remaining regular season games: Saturday, Feb. 23 -- Bemidji State (3:37) -- Very limited available tickets. Sunday, Feb. 24 -- Bemidji State (3:37) -- 700 available tickets. Friday, March 7 -- St. Cloud State (7:37) -- 1,500 available tickets. Saturday, March 8 -- St. Cloud State (7:37) -- 700 available tickets. The reason there are so many available tickets for the St. Cloud State series is because the students will be on spring break. So they did not receive tickets for this series in their season-ticket packages. Quote

PBTV has FSSN, which broadcast the Sioux's home games. $6 for a month bundled w/the sports pack. Otherwise, there's the feed from the UND website. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 So are they gonna sell the student section cheap again? not sure, not many tickets left overall. great crowds this season through the whole season. 4 more regular season plus 2 playoff games..so 6 more to go..sell those out and get crazy!! AZSIOUX Posted February 18, 2008 Author Posted February 18, 2008 If he sees the same number of shots that JPL saw in the first v. DU on Saturday, just fine. exactly and for those thinking phil will start both games because of the streak? sorry but phil hasnt started all 50 plus games in a row to make a starting streak and to break any records. hes starting because he is all we have for a proven goalie that gives us the best possible chance to win every single game and hes proven that without a doubt. lets remember bsu blew a big lead vs cc this year in the springs so they arent a tam to be taken lightly at all. the streak is secondary to anything else. is walski starts then score him some early goals but if he doesnt start then so be it. these games are just as important as any other with pairwise implications.
