Very poor 19 minutes in the second but otherwise, I think the Sioux played well overall. Great game for Kozek. Of course I'm not telling anyone anything they didn't already know. Enjoyed being on the board tonight with everyone tonight. Gotta go... sticks and pucks early in the morning with the kids. Sioux sweep tomorrow!! AZSIOUX Posted February 16, 2008 Author Share Posted February 16, 2008 what a character win for the sioux. we played like crap early on through 2 periods but fiund a way to pull a W out and the 2 points. great job not giving up and winning one for the flipper get the damn sweep tomorrow and blow these guys out. has to be a very demoralizing loss for DU and smurky face himself..GO SIOUX way to rebound phil after a tough start, it could have been 6-1 easily but you stayed in it kozek was a friken sniper and congrats on the hatty!! It's multiple words , and a somewhat fancy script. But It's gonna bother me all night, please will a trivia god answer this. It's worth 100 online points, which is worthless but we're dying to know. I think it has something to do with honoring former players (Cherski, Christian, Morelli and Noah) who were named Fighting Sioux Hockey Legends earlier this season. I believe the current players who share their numbers have their names stitched onto their jerseys. I think Malone and Marto also have names on their jerseys. First line forwards played their best game of the year A+. Chorney and Lapoint were not up to standard, but Genoway, Bina, Finley and Jones were A-. Lammy's numbers for this game will suck, but he didn't play poorly. Denver capitalized on a lot of puck luck. I think good coaches are telling their teams to counter punch the Sioux.
