you have to understand the market - 50,000 people in G.F. compaired to Mn Tech gophs here in the cities with a population of 2.5 million. Much easier to sell that advertising. I'm just happy that I can watch the games in Grand Forks in my living room in St. Paul - any road games are a bonus. I let Hennessy keep me entertained for most of those.

The charges were not dropped however - the case was dismissed by the judge. The prosecutor would have had to drop the charges and he/she did not. For this to have gone to trial is a joke.

goofy cops that arrested him for this and even more goofy prosecuter that filed the charges and took it to court. I would have hoped that the good people of the plains would have used alittle more common sense that what was exhibited here. What a waste of time, money and reputation. At least the judge showed good judgement - but it never should have gotten that far and its not even an election year.

wasn't he the #1 draft in major juniors and was going to play out west but decided to come here because it was closer to home?

He has absolutley no reason to come back to UND. It was a fun two years and if I remember correctly - he wasn't going to come here in the first place but made a mid-summer change of mind.
