yep - fraid so why would FSMinny broadcast a ND/Mich game when they could show the Wild? Only a few hundred folks here would like to see the Sioux live - but many thousand will have the Wild game on - whether they know spit about hockey or not. We're lucky for the rebroadcast to be honest with you.

alot of gophs have done this in the past as well - skate off to get acknowledgement from the crowd and then turn to their mates. Tallackson (among others) was always good for that type of self promotion

I was thinking the same thing but I believe that her group status shows "pending authorization" which has no chance of being approved.

It did not show on TV - but Wheeler just came off the bench when the turn over happened. As a result, he was all of a sudden a factor that was headed full speed into their offensive zone. I thought he came out early (as it appeared to me that nobody was headed to the bench prior to that) - but I'm sure Shep did not want a repeat of the call that occured in Duluth a while back. This was far from Brian's fault - it was simply a turnover at their blue line and "lucky" timing of a player off the bench which resulted in the flukey goal. I don't worry too much about our team - they are talented, gutsy, play with heart and their season is far from over.

I would guess there will be at least 1,500- 2,000 (very vocal) folks with Sioux gear on in the X this weekend - perhaps more but I can't believe any less than that.
