Perhaps the younger fans think the older fans dropped the ball by not being more proactive in 2005? Perhaps the younger fans on this board are face to face with the Hawks voters everyday, powerless to do anything about it and it is aggravating? Perhaps they've had less time to make peace with the fact that the ball has been dropped, since 2005. Take your pick.

I will chime in on the Freshman hypothesis -- there are a couple who I would give a free attitude adjustment to, but like has been said, I'm sure they will straighten out with time.

correct. I'm biased as I spend a lot of time with them in the Hyslop, so I find them enjoyable. I also grew up around UND and as a fan of the football team, so I probably tend to like them more than the average student as well.

if he doesn't like UND football, yes, he should get away from the UND football boards. Seems mighty weird to come on here only to trash the team and tell us he hates football.

We few have been trying. I don't think it helps putting 'hockey only' students in the seats. However, the atmosphere was okay until we dropped to isu and weber. Which by the way, we need to start beating them year in and year out. 2 years in a row to a program like that isn't impressive.

if I remember right his name was kiefer. also telling newsom that he was twice the player and twice the number of Knipp, making him laugh. Was a hell of a time. 75 got the worst though.

Well for starters, this weekend the students (the big guy) at the football game were doing a "Knipp!" "Nope!" Chant that I think could be used for northern Colorado in the future--as Knipp is a redshirt freshman so we should get him at home at least one more time.

Politely I could make a case to move this to the hockey forum. I agree that you can't tell the students to sit down while complaining hat they don't do enough. And we can either have a hell raising crowd or we can have a family friendly daycare atmosphere.

Some kind of encouragement on campus is needed. Something needs to be done about free student tailgate passes, they are basically used as parking, which kills everything.

UNC was nothing, the ISU game was when things got real. He will be wherever the game is if we make the playoffs. I've been sitting next to him every game since the first two (I had weddings to get to).

Yeah its tough to get people to tailgate at 8 AM for a losing team. Backing it up to 4 or even 2 I think would do wonders. ( I realize we are not a losing team this year, but it will take time for the general public to see that )

I'm not familiar with edwards? Palendech - no playing time, Golladay - change in coaching regime. I think playing time and regime are different causes, not big seasons. That was my friend's example. Is there any known examples of huge seasons resulting in a transfer? Is there any reason to worry about that?

I saw Baylee Carr's brother was at the game as a recruit as well. Don't know much about him though.
