  1. Not sure where to put this - so I'll put it here. Just checked the St. Louis Blues schedule and should TJ opt to leave UND after this season (which unfortunately he probably will) the earliest TJ could join the Blues would be March 29 (that is if we lose the first game in the regional - which we WON'T). So then on the the Frozen Four for the Sioux and unless the Blues make the playoffs - which looks very doubtful at this time - the Blues won't have any games left for TJ to play after we've won #8 as the Blues regular season ends April 6. I wonder if TJ will finish out the school year?
  2. Thanks - Channel 9 doesn't list their programming on the "grid" so I couldn't find it.
  3. Parise on Radio - not sure if it's live or not, but if you go to the front page of NHL.com and it's the first of the "pictures". - having a hard time getting it to buffer correctly - not sure if it's my computer or if it's the "feed".
  4. Is the game still on? Is it on TV in GF, if so what channel?
  5. Unfortunately wanting to and going to are at vastly oposite ends of the spectrum. I think that a lot of these guys really do want to come back, but it often really isn't in their best interests. I'm still amazed that TJ, Ryan, Taylor and Big Joe all came back this year. It would have been very easy for any of them to jump.
  6. Ed was 20 or 21 when he came in. He worked his tail off to get on the team too. Spent many nights and weekends making the trek down to GF to play and get to know all the folk around town as he wasn't "recruited" per se.
  7. Check out the question at the bottom of the page over on USCHO.com http://www.uscho.com/ They've got Bachman as a Hobey potential (but no Phil).
  8. I know it's the off ice stuff with TJ, but what about the ON ICE stuff with Gerbe? - that is just a bee in my bonnet - all the "national" folks want to crucify TJ for taking a leak, but it's just fine for Gerbe to butt end another player and get suspended by his league.
  9. It's too bad that the Hobey is such a numbers game. If it were truly about the best player in college hockey, there is nobody who works harder and battles through more "junk" and is as selfless and team orientated than TJ. With that said - Go Phil, a couple more shutouts and you wil be assured a spot in the hat trick.
  10. That's why Matt Greene left early - he had to sign that pro contract for the big bucks to pay off his stick bill from UND.
  11. And the cherry to top off rooting for Northeastern is that you can root against BC.
  12. Not that we weren't expecting something like this, but this is NOT GOOD! http://www.grandforksherald.com/articles/i...;section=sports The only positive that Hak won't say anything about the injuries. I kind of think Trupper is done for the season, but am hoping that maybe Chay can be back at least for regionals and the Frozen Four.
  13. I'm not writing this to rag on DL, but to say that Chay "doesn't have the stick and never will" is just silly. The way that Chay has elevated his play this year is amazing and he continues to get better each game. He has 22 points (6 goals and 16 assists - 5th on the team in scoring) and is a +13 (2nd after Little Joe), so obviously Chay must have at least a little bit of stick.
  14. I know he's not a former Sioux player, but just got finished watching the Washington/Boston game and Ovechkin had 3 goals, 2 assists, 1 penalty and 5 shots on goal. The kid is SICK good. The Caps got a good deal in signing him for as long as they did, regardless of the price.
  15. The one thing I noticed after losing Chay yesterday was the team seemed to have a hard time finding and keeping the energy level up. It's hard losing both of these guys because both are real energy players and whenever the team seems to need a pick me up, one of those two usually come to the rescue.
  16. It's getting real old playing both BC and Mich in the tourney. Let's get some new meat to chew on.
  17. It will be interesting to see how the D gets paired. Finley had such good chemistry with Chay. They really seemed to compliment each other. Hak paired LaPointe and Marto earlier in the season and that seemed to work OK, but I just don't see Jones and Finley together. Jones has and can play with both frosh and has done well being the "leader" and "mentor" of the defense pairing and if Jones plays with one of the frosh I'm not sure which one would play with Finley.
  18. I wonder if Spirko ever knew he was such a fan favorite. EVERYBODY loved Sparky.
  19. Drew is back and had an assist tonight in a 4-2 loss.
  20. Do games in the conference tourneys count in the pairwise?
  21. I hope the Sioux paste Roe every chance they get, but they need to do it CLEAN. They also need to keep their heads and not let him or any of the Huskies get to them. St. Clown really seems to be able to agitate, the boys need to let it all roll off their backs and laugh at their feeble attempts to get them off their game. (my mommy always told me the best way to get to someone who's "mean" to you is to laugh at them - that really gets their goat).
  22. Have Doug and the rug fallen asleep yet? Must be way past their bedtime. By the way - what is happening up in the north tundra. Did the paint dry yet?
  23. I don't think there will be any upsets in the 1-2 and most likely 1-3 of the WCHA, but the rest is so jumbled up that it's anybody's game
  24. Just blows my mind. By only taking this into consideration, the conclusion appears to be there are only 6 teams in the whole country that can compete with the WCHA.
