Bizarre how Michigan's loss to Ferris State didn't slam them as bad CC's loss considering Ferris State isn't even a TUC and CC's loss was to a ranked team. ?

Had a funny moment on the way to the wedding tonight (no I didn't wear the headphones ). The Sioux had just taken a penalty and while they were killing it off it seemed like the only Sioux name heard over and over again was Genoway and my mom at one point asked "Is there anyone on the ice besides Genoway?"

Tis a hard decision, especially with my little Trupper out. I think I'll go with Duncan, he's going to miss one of those pipes tomorrow while he's shooting at it and it's going to go in the net.

I am only speculating here - but wasn't it Anderson who grabbed the Duluth player by the Jersey earlier this year? Maybe Sandy thought it wasn't such a good idea for him to come back to town.

I love it - when the CCHA gets mad at us for calling Miami or Michigan cupcakes, they always bring up that they are so high in the pairwise, but if the CCHA is such a powerhouse how is it that there are 8 of 10 WCHA teams in the top 14. Can't have it both ways boys. (Just think how BAD those other leagues must be if the likes of Minnesota with the year that they are having this year can be ranked tied for 12th)

I have to go to my cousin's step-daughter's wedding tomorrow during the Sioux/Dogz game. Would it be rude if I wore my wireless radio to the wedding? I would put duck tape over my mouth so I wouldn't yell during the ceremony.

Jonny is used to that crap - he played in the WCHA for 2 years.

I'm not sure the JT's work ethic is any less than TJ's. I think you just notice TJ's more because he is so in your face with everything he does. (Remember how his freshman year the coaches kept telling him "you can go around them, you don't always have to go through them )

One of my nephew's grade school teachers went on a rant to her class about how it was disrespectful to yell Sioux at the end of the national anthem and at the next game he chastised me for yelling it. My response to him was "The Sioux were here first."

The one this year that is bugging me is Gerbe from BC. There is all kinds of press about him being considered for the hobey and the guy has been warned twice by the league for dirty play and then was suspended by the league for butt ending another player. Seems to me he doesn't meet the "Character" component of the award.
