Shuster had a career high in passing yards. In this game that is not a good thing. Our offense is effective when we eat the clock and dominate possessions. No lead is safe if we cannot maintain long drives, hung our defense out to dry.

I agree we were good enough. Keep our offense on the field and score in the second half and it’s a whole other game.

Honestly it’s either we suck and never should have had a chance to win this game, or we are a good team and just failed to execute. We will find out in MVFC games…..

We didn’t need to make adjustments, we just needed to execute better. Everyone harps on making adjustments but we are in the right positions and just need to execute.

No I’m pissed we didn’t figure it out when we were only down by 3 or even 10. We know we are better than this 3 qtr performance. Lost opportunity but excited for the rest of the season.

This is my biggest concern, they rest is easily fixable before we start league play.

Well NDSU is not as good as Utah State, at least they haven’t shown it.

We have no deep shot threats against FBS secondaries. We barely have a deep shot threat against FCS opponents . We started to have poor execution and couldn’t keep the pressure on. The best we could have done is execute what we do well. O lone got worn down.

We lost by 24 doesn’t represent how well we played in the first quarter. Fix that and we are a hard team to beat. It was a 3 point game at the beginning of the 4th…..

Ha you can’t put a nail in the coffin against an offense like this! If we can’t stop their offense then the game turns into a shootout, we cannot win those high scoring games the game isn’t over until the time runs out in the 4th

What if Utah State finishes the season with 1 or two losses? Hard to hold down a good team for 4 quarters. Most games I would say we dropped the ball but tonight we just got worn down

Can’t expect to score on every drive. I could see them wearing our D down even in the first half. We can’t win in a big sky shootout. Their defense adjusted and finally figured out how to shut us down

1-5 means nothing, this Utah State could have a good year, their defense has finally figured out how to stop us. They beat a P5 team so you have to respect that.

We are playing better than I thought until the 4th drive of the game. Let’s hope they focus now in the 4th and keep this drive going

A stop would be huge for UND. That 3 and out after the Int was huge before the half. Need to start the half right then get the ball to the offense.
