I can assure you, you and whoever else, wont cancel the midco contract. It would be insane on their end. FSN would pay them for rights to broadcast games. If ratings are good under this contract, FSN will look to air some football and DEFINITELY hockey games.

Talked to friend who works for FSN. They are trying to fill slots lost to big ten network. They do see this deal as a stepping stone into more coverage, including hockey. They do want to carry more basketball as well. He said, they realize they need to cover more area now to get more viewers and think the reach up at UND is good for them in attempt to get more viewers/sports. (I know it sounds like sales jargon, but he said they definitely want to get UND product on air) % gobc...tho im sure he (they) will elaborate more, after new contracts/airings are announced :-)

I will gladly contribute, and do what I can to help get it going. If there are more willing, I'll gladly start communications to see what can be done, and maybe try kickstarter or gofundit. OR... maybe the gobc wants their name on a board? Seriously tho, im willing to put time and effort in, and ultimately some cash.

the problem with many camps; you get a few stars and then the rest. And the rest dont work hard on de, and dont want to get dunked on, so thats what you get. Enjoy his showcase and take it for what it is. He is a good player tho.

Last couple years recruits have been talented athletes. Next years crop looks same. The year after looks promising. UND is building something nice. Should fill The Betty. Upgrade that; go to 4000+ seats, new video board(s), and whatever else can get done to it. Pick few dates out of the year to use the Ralph, its been done before. Oh, and get a better marketing team! UND will continue to get better recruits and bring back tradition. Then, rebuild Hyslop. But something needs to be done to update the Betty. It will hurt the program in the long run.

It is a decent facililty. I hope more seats will be a problem needed to fix soon, but for now it aint bad. The gym does carry sound well and when the fans come its packed and loud. There are a few things I hear are wanted, but one thing I consistently hear about is the lack of a videoboard. I would think MIDCO or some other company would figure a way to get them in and use for advertising.

Agreed! Next year's roster looks promising. And once the youth develops, should be good times.

After recent visit, noticed it was lacking some technology. Could use two, one above/beyond each hoop. Or go like everyone else with one big overhead box in middle. This would help with recruiting as well. So do we get the gobc on this? :-) Local business, alumni, school? Hoping to at least get the people that matter to recognize this need. And hopefully get it addressed.

Garage Logic was ripping the "logic" of their re-election. They are not fans of either and despise Franken Side note- have to make sure the constituents understand they have to vote to keep their money and benefits flowing in

For the "gobc" and anyone who dont get it...mostly the people believing in firing Hak UND is to college hockey as Kentucky is to basketball, as far as player dev and goals (thought id specify so no "natty" comparison came about from recent history) The kids that come here, have one thing in mind-go pro So they do everything they can to promote themselves, while playing within the construct of Haks system. I would like to believe a championship will come, but as most people know, it aint easy! Hak does extremely well with the talent and egos he has. And he gets them where they want to go, thus doing his job. (Cant believe Im talking hockey-smh)

All three should redshirt. Going to be down year anyway. Let them grow together and be the players UND needs them to be next year.

Again, new to this, sorry. Anyone know if an injunction has been filed towards the ncaa? From a fanbase standpoint, I believe you could argue your rights are being violated. By allowing FSU and other teams to keep their nickname, they are discriminating against UND. Anyone try to have some of that fun? I also presume its past that point of trying, but I would be willing to bet could get the ncaa to pucker a bit. Please educate me. Again, sorry if thats needed

Question: will the idiots that be actually consider a relevant, purposeful nickname as many have brought up in this forum? There ought to be a way to get a majority behind a single nickname and get that backed by alum, boosters, and fans. After all, it is about the almighty dollar. Turn this forum into picking a realistic nickname, go grassroots, print up the logo, distribute it, and get it recognized and backed by the people that matter. For what it is worth...I actually like the "Warriors" in reference to the military. Honor them and the idiots would be proven to be just that if they didnt back it
