I've never understood the fascination with viewer #'s, but since its brought up all the time on here, I'm curious what the default rate of viewers is for an espn or espn2 on a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon. Subtracting that number from the total "viewers" would give a better picture of how many actually tuned in, on purpose, for a specific event.

those are my thoughts as well. our bigs are slower and/or get pushed around constantly. can't remember that last time I saw a powerful postup move and score from our bigs. Geno is so athletic but it all gets cancelled out with his out of control drives and turnovers.

the way it started out we could've folded early, so I guess gotta give some credit for keeping on battling and making a couple runs at them.

seems like we made just enough mental errors and got sloppy enough from time to time, to not hang with them.

I agree. People were indicating the last few years merchandise sales were down because of no logo on it. So far in that regard, nothing's changed. I always thought I wouldn't buy anything with whatever the new name was for several years. But now that we're finally this far along, and i'm seeing the name on new merchandise, I figured what the frack, and bought a Fighting Hawks shirt.

with the way Iowa played today, it certainly won't be a big deal if ndsu beats them. They should've played in the Pansy Bowl instead of the Rose Bowl.

It was clear on the replay the Idaho player was out of bounds after blocking the shot ,and never established himself inbounds before touching the ball. I was a little surprised Ralston never figured that out while we waited forever for the officials. If only McDermott would've head faked that guy he would've had a wide open attempt as time expired. But I suppose he felt the pressure of time running out; I have no idea why they were taking their sweet time to run the play when down by three.
