Pulled down a rebound, turned to go up court and tore the Achilles. Said it hurt like a mother ?????. 3 months of no weight and 3 months of rehab and is doing fine now.

3. Nice Article on Dale Jones. Should be a nice fit and replacement for Brinstine: skip navigation Player Finder JC Recruiting Class Breakdown: What is Iowa getting in Dale Jones from Tyler JC? 06/21/2015, 12:00pm EDT By Brad Winton We will break down many of the top 2015 division one junior college recruiting classes over the next several weeks. Some D1 programs rely heavily on JUCO transfers, while others may only pick up one every few years. Today we will take a look at Iowa’s JC recruiting class, which features one of the top junior college players in the country in the 2015 class. Dale Jones committed to Iowa after completing his sophomore season at Tyler JC. He is currently ranked as the #8 player in our www.JucoRecruiting.com 2015 Top 100 Player Rankings. Our final 2015 rankings will be released in June. What is Iowa getting in Jones? Dale Jones is a 6’8 3 man, who was very impressive when we watched him multiple times throughout the season. Jones is very versatile on the offensive end of has deep range on his jumper. He creates matchup problems for defenders with his unique ability to score in the low and mid post while also being able to sretech the floor and score off the dribble from the perimeter. Jones can create his own shot and has very good footwork on the perimeter. He uses his size well to face up smaller defenders and use a jab series to create space before shooting over smaller defenders. Jones sees the floor very well and is a good passer from the perimeter and from the high-post. He has a smooth and fluid game that should translate very well to the next level. Quality shooters are hard to come by, especially shooters who are 6’8, and Iowa did a very good job of recruiting Jones heavily throughout his sophomore year. On the defensive end, Jones does a solid job of keeping perimeter players in front of him and uses his body well in the low post. He will most likely have to guard threes and stretch four men in the Big 10. Jones does a nice job on the glass on both ends of the floor and has the ability to rebound the ball and initiate the transition break. Jones suffered a knee injury at Tyler, but looked to be almost fully recovered during regional tournament and national tournament play. He still has some issues with lateral mobility on the defensive end when guarding on the perimeter, but his knee did get stronger as the year went on. He should be at full strength by the time the 2015-16 season roles around. 0 Delete

  5. 31-41 Win over Utah, they overlook us in 1st half and our defense holds them in 2nd half 38-0 Win Pound them like they did us a few years ago. We are much improved and they have fallen off 42-31 Win Our defense is better than theres
  6. Lets hope they don't have room to stop in Fargo and Fargo Fans can then put together another bus.
  7. IF the 6'10" Cashman had not get kicked off the team last summer, Walters most likely would have red shirted. With him gone Walters was forced to play. Billy Brown is too slow with his feet and shot release to ever be much of a D! player. If he were playing against UND's quick guards, he would get eaten up.
  8. Premier Center in SF holds 10,500 for Hockey. Should be rockin with ND as the Host School. Target Center will have completed their renovation and will be a nice arena to host a Regional. I have been to a Final 4 and Regional in domes and they are too big.
  9. Time to vote for the Champion. Hooker won last year, lets make it back to back.
  10. KFGO Just announced UND to drop Women's Hockey!!!

    2017 Season

Any chance of getting any of the 3 Grad Transfers leaving MN? 1 DE 2 OL
  12. 1. Jackson 2. Guldseth 3. Hooker 4. Vonesh 5. Beasly, Bob Eaglestaff, Fred Lukens, and many others that I can't remember. Is this years team the best ever? I would say the Guldseth, Vonesh, Gardner, Jacobson, Robertson teams of the early 90's would give this team a good run and maybe was better over a 3+ year period.
  13. So, how will the incoming recruits along with the transfers sitting out this year look to replace Hooker and Baldwin? I would expect the two transfers to step in and contribute right away. Kienan Walter should be able to put on some weight over the summer and add strength. Who actually are the incoming recruits? I know about Moody but don't know much about any others?
  14. maybe walters redshirts next year when the two transfers are ready to play?

    Coach Schmidt

Bubba has 10+ years of coaching left in him (my opinion). I don't see coach Schmidt sticking around that long. By the time Bubba retires, Schmidt could be a coach (DC or Head Coach) at a school larger than UND and wouldn't then take a pay cut to coach UND. Hope he stays but I don't see it happening.
  16. Just checked the map. It is now updated. Looks like maybe 5,000 available seats.
  17. So do you believe there will be more or less than 5,500?
  18. This weekends game will let us know where we stand. 3 games in 3 days.
  19. I would like to see 1-16 seeded. 1-8 get byes, 9-16 get home games and 17-24 go to closest venue/regionalization.
  20. I was reading the USD MBB forum. Sounds like some are not too happy with their Men's coach. When he was hired, some on here were hoping he could come here to replace Jones. Funny how quickly some fans turn on their coaches. I am not a huge Brian Jones fan, but it seems like when the Conference Tourney comes around most years, he does have the team playing their best basketball at the right time. Lets hope things start out good tonight. Any one know who if any will redshirt this year?

    Bracketology

I don't see Central Arkansas as a seed if they lose this weekend to SHSU.

    Clive Georges

Any news on Clive? There was some speculation he could play again this year if we made the playoffs. If we get a top 8 seed will he be ready by Dec. 3?
  23. FArgo metro population is 230,000+ GF/EGF = 70,000+ NDSU football very successful last 5 years UND not so much. Anyone who ever thinks UND will rival SU in attendance, it will never happen. GF just doesn't have the population. Will slowly increase if UND football continues to improve and WIN but will never draw as Su does.
  24. I hope you then can't make the FB Game.
