  1. Matt Frattin has scored 52 goals in 65 games so far this season. Although he's had a so-so playoff run in goal production, his goal scoring total this season is higher than any player from the Alberta Juniors in several years (including the likes of Mason Raymond). He's only a rookie in that league so I suspect he will be an 08 recruit. We may have something special here.
  2. Their whole team scares me! Lots of speed and scoring depth with solid goaltending.
  3. Understood and I would agree. With Boyle on the Blueline, Motherwell has some offensive help. Frankly I'm glad Boyle is now on defense. Gives us more opportunity to be physical with their smaller forwards. Hope we can wear them down.
  4. Just confirmed. The charter is a go!!!!!! Our tickets are in sections 118-120 LETS GO SIOUX!
  5. That's too bad. I was hoping he'd return to Minnesota. We scored a lot of goals while he was on the ice.
  6. BC has 2 very explosive scoring lines (72% of their goals come from their top 5 guys vs. 57% from our top 5 guys). I also noticed that BC expects little or no scoring from their defense. They've only scored 8 goals on defense all year which contributes a little more than 5% of their total goal scoring. UND contributes nearly 20% of their goal production from their defense. It looks like we can have an advantage (or a liability) when our defense pinches down. It also places a lot of pressure on Porter/Vandevelde/Watkins to repeat their performance from the regional. As always, we'll need scoring from our lower lines to take the pressure off of the DOT. CS has been consistent the 3 years he's been with BC. In his past 2 season, 2.10 GA, .928 SV% with 14 shutouts. I like our chances if we continue to have the same success against him. Schneider's stats in 2 games against UND = 5.50 GAA .822 SV%
  7. Mine is hanging in the closet right next to my light blue leisure suit..... "Fat guy in a little coat".........Tommy Boy Callahan
  8. They still haven't decided if they'll raise a runner-up to Holy Cross banner.
  9. You might have a shot at getting on with the help of a FSC member, but you won't be saving much unless you're 12.
  10. Agreed. This game should have been played in St.Louis.
  11. I believe Hensick recently said something similar
  12. The best for JT is to leave UND with a 3-peat in national championships, right?
  13. The key is obviously to play our game then opposition adjustments won't matter. Sauer is highly unlikely to stand on his head and beat us but Michigan has scoring depth on their lines moreso than we do. If we do not take pressure off of the DOT line by getting goals from our 2nd-4th lines, we're beat. (We roll when they score, simple as that) PL will give up a couple soft goals in this game but they will happen because of Mich pressure. Defense needs to play smart. I also think that if we have PP advantage in this game, we have a good shot at knocking them off. Mich is not as effective as ND on special teams.
  14. Bowling just hasn't been the same since Dick Weber and Earl Anthony retired. Who can forget the excitement of the Big "E" getting a strike in the 10th going to the "Brooklyn" side with Chris Schenkel doing the colorful play by play.....God I'm old...
  15. is Fargo considered a "select area"?
  16. does that leave the door open for a return to UND?
  17. If that were true he'd be crazy not to sign. Take the big signing bonus now and get out in a couple years.
  18. Not only will SCSU be tired from their long series but they're also a little dinged up. Borer did get hurt (shoulder/arm) in the first period on Sunday but actually returned later in the game. Gordon also got hurt (ankle/knee) and did not return. Anyone know his status for Friday?
  19. yep, and on one of the greatest goals scored in the history of the game...
  20. Goepfert is really hot. Duluth should be up by 2. Doesn't bode well for the dogs but we'll see....
  21. Lawson playing well but the only way Mn loses is on a bad break. AA can't seem to create any scoring chances.
  22. Duluth ties on the pp...1-1
