  1. Didn't notice if mentioned. Brock playing @ Winnipeg tonight. So no issue getting work visa, if Canada requires that like US. Vancouver's twitter shows a group on UND players made it up to watch the game.
  2. Will South Dakota's new adoption law deter NCAA? They still had D2 WBB this weekend, but it was too short notice to yank like they did to NC over bathroom bill.
  3. You are correct my bad. I read Keller but was thinking Keifer(spelling). Saw Bellows alot in Stampede vs Force games
  4. The what if...... predicted to play Union until Penn State did so well in B1G tourney. But than again, we had no problem outplaying BU yesterday. Just not great end result. Miska has saved Duluth alot the last 2 weeks.
  5. Adrenaline of being put through the glass wore out
  6. A couple bigger guys will help expecially driving the net, kinda like Tucker 2 years ago when he played some forward, and shades on Wollanin when he steps up
  7. The angle of that camera doesn't help either, angles play a mean game on eyes, see Ninos potential tying goal for Wild vs Stars game 6. This pic shows skate in contact with line. If this was not a OT game winner in NCAA tourny that goal stands. If linesman didnt go into review thinking it was offsides the goal probably stands. It was noted he thought it was, which intiated the review. Was he offsides? Maybe, but can not tell from that view for certain. Sucks because I don't think that inch had any effect on the puck going into the net. It is a different play entirely from a player going on a breakaway where he beats the pass to him in.
  8. Even probably an hour before would be okay. Glass will be gone right away with people who been there all morning, but beyond that didnt fill too fast until 30 min till game time last time. The fam fest may help slow the filling of the area too.
  9. I think the untapped hockey fan base in Sioux Falls would do well atleast for one regional. Stampede typically sell well, and have sold out the arena multiple times, and there is alot of UND fans there, in same sense UMN watchers as well. Since the Denny opened the Stampede has drawn a average attendance over 6200. There are alot of youth players there that I assume never seen a collegiate hockey game in person before. 1 USHL team, 2 NAHL teams, and 1 ECHL team I think they will get a shot at a regional soon.
  10. Last I heard UND bid on 2018 in Sioux Falls.
  11. Last time the St. Cloud fans and band were right by the student section, if UMD is this time then there will be alot of back and forth again
  12. http://scheelsarena.com/ncaa-west-regional-information/
  13. per UND students gats open 90 min before puck drop. also no free shuttle to softball lots this time, so no free parking besides restaurants/bars with shuttles. Parking Public parking is available on the south and west side of Scheels arena. All parking lots are paved.
  14. In this post you came on and asked nicely so you should be answered. There is on site parking, but not sure if still available to purchase or not. There were a couple of places that ran park and ride for free, i know the softball fields by Sonic i believe on 45th was one. Billiards and a few bars ran shuttles too. I would think now that times are set a fan guide should be released soon.
  15. Still think play should've stopped when Tucker couldn't get up, would've prevented the junk that ensured.
  16. I don't think officiating were all that bad, seemed pretty consistent. The last icing call was bad, and in one aspect gave Denver more time on the ice and at center vs in their own zone, as clock would've kept running if it wasn't called. In other sense Denver was not able to get the 6th skater on for very long after that if at all.
  17. I believe NCAA is Center Ice. USA Hockey is last play
  18. wasn't #16 SDSU within 4 pts of #1 Gonzaga at half today? Yes I know it didn't end close.
  19. if it is the same setup as student area 2 seasons ago there were two levels, the 1st level was ground level near glass, than there was two elevated platforms, can't remember how many rows there were on the ground level but it was pretty tight, and if these are leftover SRO from what students didn't buy you may end up near the back of either level as glass and front row of elevated platform fill early with Student early admittance
  20. People are already trying to get $200 for each standing room only ticket on craigslist....
  21. Yes this is the first weekend of spring break.
  22. If I remember right students are let in earlier
  23. plus does the Sioux Shop have a licensing agreement for a specific timeframe on that logo? Or they may be able to make it under their agreement as a historical logo anyway?
