Augie announces they are examining the move to DI
SiouxVolley replied to Wildfan's topic in NCAA News
Josh Morton is interviewed by Midco: He states either MVFC or Pioneer. Sanford is a big part of this, as he allude to big changes on the academic side. Will Sanford create an Augustana Med School? Or buy out USF. When Morton was hired, something big was going to happen there. -

Could Augie get a berth in the MVFC as ESPN991 assumes? http://espn991.com/augustana-university-to-make-the-jump-to-division-i/ That would take the MVFC to 12. Murray St was the oresumed #12, but they haven’t got an invite yet. -
Publix may be the greatest premium grocery store. But it’s only been expanding north for a little more than a decade, as it has Florida roots. They are expanding further north every year and think it has hit Virginia. Mobile didn’t have one when I left, now it may be the favorite chain there..

USD and SDSU’s Presidents could have vetoed an Augie moveup, but the taste of Sanford’s money is too good. UND and NDSU won’t hardly be affected by their move, but USD and SDSU will take a much bigger hit in corporate support. Augie will go for the neutral fans in Sioux Falls and probably get much of their support just by being the the same city. Nashville has six DI programs near or in that city, but at least four of them (Belmont, Lipscomb, Austin Peay and Tennessee St). don’t hardly get media attention. The Sioux Falls media is much more insular, so expect Augie to take up a lot of Sioux Falls’ coverage. -

It better be the Montanas, Idaho and EWU. They are all within distance of a bus rise to each other. -
It bothers me that are so anti-development that many people are complaining about wrecking the vacant Lyons Auto building and putting up a 6 floor apartment some people actually want to live in. Their complaints are that there is no parking and that Lyons should become a museum, but didn’t state for what. Its like downtown GF just supposed to one giant Pioneer Village romantically symbolizing their childhood but with no people living there and no businesses. Building over the 4th Str Park with apartments came to a vote, so I shouldn’t be surprised.

Specifically for the posters that didn’t bother to open the links it’s obvious you didn’t read them. Maybe it just your lame a** retention and reasoning. Have tutored kids in the past, but you need a special ed teacher.

A poster said on the USD board, that getting Augie is good way to drive out non - I29 schools. He has a point. -
Some posters are just so incredibly lazy. Have linked to the USD expansion before, but refuse to do the negative Nellie's work.
-
The USD board said 14k with an option for 16k later.

I go to a naturopath, and almost all of his clients that have pets have parasites too. But they can all be eliminated by natural tonics and herbs. Fleas often are parasite carriers. Anything a pets plays with gets in his mouth and he often licks you and spreads parasites. Our guts need beneficial bacteria or we would die. Beneficial flora bacteria are far from parasites. Any “treatment” using parasites is just like treating pain with opioids. It’s like claiming that tapeworms help one lose weight. There are better pain treatments, but the pharmaceutical industry won’t profit. Just making tea from leaves of Avocado, guava, Guarana and Figs have great medicinal properties, like reducing blood sugar for prediabetes people. Parasites include non-bacterial single celled organisms. Many really sick people are full of them and modern doctors can not detect them. But his methods do and they get a “miracle” cure.

https://www.quora.com/How-are-sushi-chefs-able-to-remove-all-of-the-parasites-from-fish But almost all pets and all pet owners have parasites too. Some herbs and plants, but not beneficial bacteria, kill parasites. Wormwood for example.

USD renovating the Dakota Dome now that it doesn’t have to include basketball seating. https://www.argusleader.com/story/sports/college/university-of-south-dakota/2018/12/11/dakotadome-renovation-south-dakota-coyotes-football-usd/2261915002/ Understand that the renovation will seat 14k, but more seats can be added to get to 16k.

Swore off Sushi, which may cause a number of parasite infections, including tape worms. That’s why it wasn’t originally in western diets.

Here’s the new proposed six story building where the Lyons Auto Repair bldg is. https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/government-and-politics/4542498-developers-plan-six-story-project-downtown-grand-forks Some people are complaining because an empty auto repair building will be torn down. How many people live there? Does that old building bring any vitality to Downtown?

Dixie St will officially announce their DI decision in January. http://dixiesunnews.com/news/articles/2018/12/06/division-i-decision-remains-undecided/ That’s the same time as Metro St will make a decision. How does Metro St help the WAC with FCS? Both will help a depleted Big Sky with proper travel partners: Dixie St with SUU and Metro St with NoCo.

Think the WSU symbol far exceeds the others. The ND logo is so blah.

Brian Jones is ranked #208 out of 353 DI coaches. https://bustingbrackets.com/2018/12/12/ncaa-basketball-ranking-353-d-head-coaches-2018-19/16/ Dave Richman is ranked higher, 162, than Craig Smith, now of Utah St but formerly of USD. Otzelberger of SDSU is ranked # 107.

Looks like SDSU gets a new Vet School in cooperation with UM.. NDSU is probably already restless. http://news.vin.com/VINNews.aspx?articleId=51238 UND needs an agreement for dentistry.
-
It’s far from a leap. FCS is a stopover point even for schools that have never had football, like Charlotte, UTSA and even soon UTRGV. But the WAC needs at least 8 wannabe FBS to get CFP payments.
-
Alabama St, Southern and Savannah St are 1000 times more credible to the selection committee than Northland College, UM Morris and Mayville St. it’s pretty simple but some don’t have the brain means to process it. And it costs SDSU probably 10 times more, and it doesn’t make a difference because SDSU has already lost to three middling DI teams.
-
https://theathletic.com/708538/2018/12/12/college-football-playoff-expansion-eight-team-support/ Talk by big dogs to go to 8 in the CFP. The Big Ten and PAC12 don’t take getting rejected lightly.
-
So Wisconsin and Iowa St can’t get at large bids? What planet do you live on? Almost every power team plays at least one MEAC or SWAC school. MEAC and SWAC teams are considered upper level teams compared to DII, DIII and NAIA schools by the selection committee. SDSU really needed a Memphis win. Their at large bid probabilities are about over.
-
As explained numerous times here, but keeps going over certain posters heads, the WAC would need to add at least 5 FCS teams in addition to Dixie St. The easiest way to do that is take from the Big Sky. Dixie St wouldnt be available for an FCS autobid for seven years (five for the transition and two more to attain an autobid if the WAC only had five more teams). So Goon believes any press release put out by commissioners that is intentionally meant to deceive. Got it. You must believe every single political ad or press release as are so gullible. The WAC is entertaining inviting FCS schools to go FBS is more accurate, but they don’t want to spill the beans yet.
