I agree that we didn't play the dominating game that I think we are capable of. They were serving and spiking towards Courtney Place a lot, making the 6'2" hitter take the bump rather than our excellent (and much shorter) defensive specialists (Hart, Clarke). I'm guessing the strategy there is that it would get her out of rhythm from her spiking game, or even force Griffin to set to someone else. Place did have the kill of the night, in my opinion, towards the very end of the fifth set. Absolutely crushed a cut shot from the left side. It was a message to Green Bay that "You're not gonna win this game, and here's what I'm doing about it!"
