Well, after winning the first round playoff game, we'll have won 9 ;p

I wouldn't say I'm on the ledge, as I am still high on this team. I will admit that that I've never thought UND would be seeded, even at 9-2. And after yesterday, I think 8-3 would be much more realistic, and I think every one here would consider that a success. At that mark, We still should be in position to host a first round playoff game, which I think would be the ultimate reward for the regular season.

As much as 9-2 and a top 8 seed has been fun to talk about over the last couple weeks, I think yesterday, though a win (on the road, no less), is a wake up call. Another loss, perhaps even two, is a strong possibility. Fortunately, the two toughest teams are played at home. Hopefully yesterday's performance was an anomaly.

Can't find the thread where the guy said it, but he predicted a 4 quarter game, and boy he was right.

According to the volleyball announcers, there appeared to be some UND football players in the crowd.

That's going to hurt us in the long run. Bad deal not closing a 2-0 lead on the road.

Absolutely man handled (woman handled? Trumped?!) in both sets 3 and 4. Decisive set 5 coming.

UND gets the second set, too. Another close but can't remember the exact score!

Just think how dominant we can be once those things don't happen anymore!

Was looking at ISU's schedule, and they have it absolutely brutal this year. Two FBS games (Colorado, Oregon St.), and starting last week, they play 6 of the top 7 in the Big Sky standings all in a row.

Add to that list Southern Utah and Weber State (and NAU, if they get hot). I'm rooting for every team the UND plays to win all their other games. Amazingly, Montana State is the team that is disappointing us the most.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Do whatever it takes. Nothing would energize our community and alumni like that game.

Here's what's really needed at the Alerus - a game against NDSU. Make it happen.

UND vs. NDSU for the right to play in Brookings?!! Think we could outbid them to host?!

Last week, I was thinking that that would be UND's best chance to host a playoff game, but there are others that think UND could out-bid SDSU if they were both playing in the first round.

I think some of it is our (UND FB fans) own doing. I know many of us thought that we had an easy schedule going into the season, which is why the expectations for a good record were really high. (Many were thinking 9-2, which is actually still possible. Some thought 10-1 was possible, and pretty much everyone agreed that anything less than 8-3 would be a disappointment.) But it's appearing that as the season rolls on, the 2016 schedule is NOT full of cupcakes like some thought, so the fact that we are still on track for potential 8-3 or 9-2 is really an indication that the team is probably exceeding expectations (thus far). I think the fans expectations are adjusting as the season moves too. Did anyone think that talk of a top 8 seed in FCS playoffs would appear on this board in 2016? (Still don't know if we're top 8 material, but it's been put out there.)
