  1. Lower body injury according to und sports.com
  2. Und completes the sweep with a 25-19 set 3.
  3. NAU time-out with UND leading 19-16 in set 3.
  4. UND lead comfortably throughout set 2, and won 25-17.
  5. Went into the media timeout down 13-15, but won the set 25-20, so we outscored them 12-5 down the stretch.
  6. Griffin is on the bench not dressed, I noticed later. Not sure what the story is. Mattson is playing fine so far.
  7. Mattson starting at setter.
  8. Love Vinyl Taco. was there last night for probably the 5th time since they opened. I don't agree with runaroundsioux's comment about $$$ - you can get three tacos for around $12, which should fill you up. Margaritas are superb, chips are made fresh, fun to watch them spin records. Only downside is that they cannot accommodate groups - There are only a couple places for a group of 6, and if you have any more people than that, you won't be able to sit together.
  9. Well, I guess he's being recruited during '17-'18, but I think the '18-'19 refers to when they come to campus.
  10. Found another site that does list her as 6'3"
  11. You're probably right - I can't even find the website that listed her as 5'11" anymore!
  12. Signed Letters of Intent: Lexi Ahrens, Virginia, MN 6'1" MB Morgan Hunt, Racine, WI 5'11" MH Darian Chwialkowski, West Fargo, ND 5'11" OH
  13. Sac St. sealed the deal to host the Big Sky this past weekend. UND is now fighting for seeding, which could be as high as #2 or as low as #6, though I doubt they would be lower than #4. Not sure seed really matters anymore since there seems to be a lot of parity at the top. I don't see us winning the tournament this year anyway; just don't have the domination factor like this time last year.
  14. I guess I don't view Rudy as young or inexperienced, which to me makes things worse. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=209357073 23 years of collegiate coaching experience at the time of Bubba's hire. I'd be on board with Freund, or even Chuck the Pigskin.
  15. Midco doesn't carry these anymore.
  16. Not sure about locked up, but back in the driver’s seat since both UND and PSU lost on Saturday.
  17. There go hosting chances.
  18. So with the Sac St. loss, that opens up a three-way race for the regular season that includes SAC, PSU, and UND. PSU and SAC still have a game left against each other, and we will have cheer for PSU, but PSU also holds the tie-breaker over UND, so that is a delicate situation. The team that we can cheer for with abandon is Idaho St., which still has games against SAC and PSU (both at home), but has enough losses that they are not really a threat to host. Too bad the right to host is not our destiny to control. At least not yet.
  19. NAU did us huge favor by beating Sac in 5!
  20. I was looking for 2017 attendance stats on NCAA.com, but couldn't find current data. Do you have a link?
  21. I also looked that up! It is not much of a house - it totally is conceivable that he stays there by himself during the high seasons.
  22. Lead by about 10 at one point (21-11, maybe), but WSU took it down to the wire. 25-21 set 2.
  23. Closer than I would have expected, but we win set 1 25-21.
  24. Actually not bad for 11 am Saturday following a gopher hockey game. Have to compete with tailgating, too.
  25. Last night was the first game of 4 for Sac on the road, and they close with 6 of 8 on the road, so maybe there's some road woes upcoming for them. It would be so fun to host again. Last night's crowd at Betty was the best I've seen for a regular season Big Sky game.
