Periodic score and time updates appreciated. Thanks.

Took a look at the Big Sky standings this morning, and wondered what happened to Idaho State?! 0-3 in conference, 3-13 overall. Then I looked at their schedule, and last night was only the second game of the season that they've played at home. They've also played schools from the ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12, and Mountain West. Plus, their first three conference games were against PSU, SAC, and NAU, some of the better Big Sky teams. What a way to start the season!

They finish 'em off in three with a tighter Set 3, winning 25-21. Some scrappy play led to points that they didn't necessarily deserve
-
Julia K in now after a couple of Johnson miscues.
-
Curious about the TV broadcast- is it Paul Raulston play by play? I'm sitting up by the media booth, and hear no voices, but I know it's also on the radio, and radio announcers sit at the scoring bench.

Set 2 to Nodak 25-18. Tepavac got some front row playing time over Johnson, including at least one kill.
-
Not sure. She's standing in the sideline with everyone else. Brace on her left knee, but she'll always have that.

Set 1 to Nodak 25-22. Ashley B has some serious heavy artillery.

Slow start for the girls, but once they settled in, they showed that they are clearly the better team. Idaho doesn't have anyone that can hit as hard as us, although they made it interesting enough for Pryor to call TO at 22-19. Amelia Johnson is getting playing time over Julia K.

I don't see it listed on undsports.com, but I noticed on the cable receiver that tonight's game against Idaho is on FSN+. I also looked ahead for Saturday's game, but that was not listed.

I was actually thinking about the Packers too when I wrote up my post. They're not my team, but I do enjoy their style of play.

Probably repeating what dozens of others have said, but I didn't have the heart to read through all of the football related posts over the last couple days. I think our offense is actually pretty decent, just need to utilize it properly. We've got a smart and effective quarterback along with some talented receivers. Studs has typically played well when there's been a sense of urgency. At 1-3, this season is at a great sense of urgency. Let's get the passing game going, and let it open up the run. Defensively, we're tired and broken. If the defense could have stopped any of those third down plays, and given the ball back to the offense, it's a competitive game. It appears we're going to have to win games with our offense, and hope our defense can get more stops than the opponent's defense.

My confidence level needs a big shot in the arm until I am able to predict a win. I am predicting a VERY tight game that will come down the victorious team winning by 7 or less.

Changing that hopefully started in the locker room immediately after the game, so that they're ready to show they've made changes on Saturday against Montana State.

Yes, that must be the year I am thinking of. I was only 13 in '95, so my memory is a little fuzzy on exact details.

I remember one year in the '90s when UND went down to Brookings and was embarrassed by SDSU, something like 35-0. The next week, they beat the Bison in Grand Forks, and I remember my dad saying that the loss to the Jacks was the best thing that could have happened to them. This is the hope I'm clinging to right now.

mmm....I thought we were better than this.

Supposed to have live stats, but I'm not getting that. Perhaps the start of the match is delayed?

I don't know - that 3rd down play looks like he broke the plane. good thing no replays back then!

I said UND by 10 in the other thread, so I'll go with 27-17.

Yes.

I think UND gets 'em by 10.

This is just my recollection, so actual play by play may differ from my memory. It seems that when the run game wasn't working right away, he went to the passing game, which is what most people wanted to see him do against Utah. since studsrud and his receivers were able to make several plays, the passing game opened up the running game for later when Santiago and Johanneson and Oliveira were able to shine. The only other thing that I was hoping for was a nifty first play from scrimmage to really get the crowd excited.

Pretty much every one had the offensive score in the ball park. No one had the shut out, though.
