His comment made zero sense. Goalie play (overall) has been iffy, D play isn’t good at all, F D zone coverage is really bad, undisciplined play has cost us a few games. This is not the UND squad we’re used to, it’s a really average team at the moment.

You’re saying this isn’t a must sweep, just in general? I mean, obv it’s not. But it is for a team with high expectations (ncaa expectations). They’d basically need Miami to turn into a good team and go on a crazy run themselves.

Agreed, this is (truly) a must sweep weekend.

Really hoping Swanson is a kid we’re after. Really nice numbers for a young guy. We have a few guys in the ushl really struggling.

We have had a tough schedule. .500 would have been like it against those opponents. Preseason expectations had me thinking even better than .500. It is what it is though.

I’m with you. This team is too talented to not turn this around. Looking forward, I’m a little worried about our pipeline. We have a couple nice ones…but it is a bit thin. I really do like our frosh class this year, but it’s tough to put a ton of reliance on them unless we’re talking about 1st round type talent. Crossing my fingers we turn this around and start landing some big time recruits. May have to wait a year for the 07 crop.
