You’re exactly right…it needs to be fixed. And no one complains about the memorial cup structure.

I think it has more to do with who is on that pp rather than strategy

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Agree for the most part, play ushl and put up big numbers. Top 3 role, tons of PP time. But, he is on a very high end U18 team that is ridiculously skilled. His numbers aren’t terrible considering he’s buried. He could come in and earn a top 6 role, you never know. Kind of reminds me a bit of Troy Terry given his smarts. -

Looks decent. I could see Budy odd man out and transferring. Kunz will be higher up next season. Potentially top 6. Strinden will probably bounce someone on that 4th. Also, many are complaining about Calder. He cooled but still had the second most goals on the team and more points than Judd with 5 less games played. I’m fine with him. Team wasn’t very skilled. one really odd stat are kleven and frisch’s assist totals. Frisch had a ton of ice time, including pp time. Six total assists is really really low. We need multiple players than can drive from the back end. I don’t see that right now with Sandy gone. -

I heard spicer is coming. Round about local source but said he heard it from the family. -

We should be all in on him. Not sure he’d come back but I’m sure Bubs let him know his hand was forced -
Spezza, Alfredsson and Heater…those were actually some fun teams to watch. That was a while ago though.

I get where you’re going but wrong game. The quality of hockey in that game vs what I watched in our game vs ND was night and day. And Duluth is better than ND. I enjoy watching players make skilled plays (1v1, passes that players actually catch, maybe even 2 consecutive passes). Our games are all dump and chases. Grind out in the corners. It’s disgusting.

Haha you just not have been watching

But did you watch the game? DU is ridiculously skilled and fun to watch. Sure they only scored 2 but they could have scored 8, Fanti stood on his head. And they won.

Dang Denver is good

Pretty sure he’s breaking Attards goal/pt pace here soon in the ushl. Bring him in and see if you can keep him for 2 years -

Agree on a few things, especially the Miller comment. Bast being top 4 in the country on any team got me chuckling. I actually like him, but his D needs a bit of work. Other than Sandy no one should leave early, obviously Frisch and Kleven could…I just don’t see them signing tbh. We’ll bring in a couple nice players (albeit freshman) and should be a tough team to play against next year. I think we’ll still struggle on the skill side of things but we should have chemistry. Overall, coaches need to start hammering the recruiting trail. Show you can snag a blue chip F (or 2) and recruit skill only. -
I always cheer for nchc teams so whoever can potentially win I’m for them. I’ll go DU but would have a tough time with the Dogs. Du plays a fun game to watch. They snuck by Lowell but at least their skill was on full display.

cloud is playing their backup right? I know Hrenak was in the hospital last week

I wouldn’t expect either to come in tbh. I would only expect Livanavage to come in if he has a spot to play.
