I’ve seen the younger brother play. Big big boy with a rocket. But….Jackson was a far better prospect at the same age. It’s really not even close currently.

Did he sign or was his rights traded?

I am. No idea on McMorrow or Casey. McMorrow would be nice. Works super hard, limited O but a really tough kid to play against. Again I’d take him for sure. Casey is interesting. Has always been a top MN goalie. Sure playing good right now.

Zellers could be a defensive weak link based on what I’ve seen. He floats quite a bit. He’ll get better and better at that; I’m really really high on him. But to expect some huge frosh year may be a bit aggressive. Also, he’s not big either.

Beyond that…they want their players to play. Skilled guys playing a depth role may be more infrequent. They’ll go where the can play….and get payed a bit.

Thats reaching a bit (as it stands right now). Not saying that wouldn’t come to fruition, but preseason top 10 given how last year played out? Coupled with the fact we lack higher end offensive skill up front? Again I don’t see it. Maybe if Boisvert would have stayed.

I had read rumors they were in play. That was before I even knew he had a brother. But him signing his ELC makes sense too.

The big thing folks kind of miss on (as I’ve said a few times) is who’s he going to play with. $ talks, but linemates matter too. And yes, I realize Zellers is coming in and has received a ton of attention recently (all deserved)…..but he’ll be a freshman. Michigan has, at the very least, Michael Hage. They’re probably bringing in more too I’m assuming.

It was 1-2 articles. Not sure how close we actually were. We still don’t know McKenna will go to Michigan for sure. But I’d put it add +90%. I’m sure another program or two will jump in on the bidding war.

His point is valid however. McKenna isn’t coming to UND.

Neutral-zone is a terrible ranking site…even when we’re way up there it’s super flawed. Quantity is heavily weighted.
