I’m just thinking he’s had a lackluster first two years….he basically sat entire 3rd last night when we needed a goal (and he’s supposed to be a producer), and the way we play hockey is the worst type of system for him.

Honestly it’s the way we play…chip it off the glass and go forecheck. The problem is the game has completely changed…all these teams have skilled dmen that can carry/move pucks. We’re literally just giving them the puck back. I’m afraid this is it. Perron is obviously gone, maybe others too.

PuckPreps sure knows a lot of the good player but some of their rankings are way off. Joey is very very good though. He went from 121 to 1….period over period. That should tell you how tapped in this puckprep person is.

Very true…those players all do well during the summer circuit so it should be interesting. Chemistry will most likely be the issue if they get knocked off.

Very good point. He actually dominated bantams as a first year too. A buddy of mine who’s kid played on a top #3 Minnkota bantam team said Marto was the very best bantam forward this year. And that obviously includes Moorhead. Pretty impressive.

Although Marto is really good…he’s so physically mature for his age that it’s tough to tell what his ceiling is. He’s also going to be fairly short. Very very good bantam…but if he was trying to make 40 man, he needed to play MN HS or tier 1.

I would wager the 13o MN team makes a decent run this year.
