I honestly have no idea. I know he's taking the "very slow/cautious" development approach however he is ranked very high. I have a hard time believing he'll go late 1st/early 2nd playing HS hockey but you never know. I watched him play at the AAPG and he didn't necessarily stand out. He definitely could play in the USHL next season.

Agreed, and he seems to be heating up a bit. In speaking about Wall, not sure who he comes over (assuming Donovan comes next year).

I’m curious what the story is with James Miller (PEN - BCHL). Seems to be doing a lot of damage from the point in Penticton. He’s old (‘98) but is doing quite well. Edit - may be committed to UNH

Frattin was always a sniper, look at his junior numbers. The guy had serious demons which greatly affected his numbers here. but to you point, yes, guys like adams and kawaguchi will be able to finish better in their upperclassman year. We just have a lack of scoring in our senior and juniors years.

Game wasn’t pretty, boys looked a lot better in the 3rd. The last two periods yesterday into the 1-2 periods today was pretty boring hockey. Very bland. But the fact jones, Hoff and a guy like Hain was out of the lineup....whatever I guess. Should have won though.

How unlucky is that, win a draw so clean that they get a break from it. Boys need to start burying, this is a game they should have won.

Pretty boring game. From the looks of it Miami has been the worst team we have played this year. Boys got up two and sat back. That type of play was reminiscent of 1-2 years ago. They should have blew up Larkin tonight. I think we blow them out tomorrow . 6-2

Curious what’s going on with Hain. Hasn’t been in the lineup, now he has an illness in which he doesn’t even make the trip? Also, I never noticed Hoff getting hurt last weekend. Sounds like we’ll be thin this weekend. See what happens I guess.

Completely agree. Were they the best recruits out there at the time...no. But they were coveted by almost all large schools and fit what Berry is trying to do. So far, they haven’t put up very good numbers but it’s early and it appears we have nice depth . This team is tough to play against. For once in quite some time, I can’t really think of better line combos.

Yes. I would rate there's as higher right now. But yes our dman pipeline is nice. I would like our forward group to match that as well (and compare to some of the other bigger schools). We are different obviously, we blend late bloomers in a bit better. But to focus on my original point (which typically gets lost on these forums), I feel our recruiting dipped, just a bit, once Hak left. Very short term obviously.

Have you seen BU’s pipeline of defensemen? Again I’m not discrediting Bubs. I’m just saying there was some work to do and I think recruiting will only continue to do better. ...and yes I realize what BU’s record is.

I said it a few years ago. Yes, Bubs was gifted a great ‘16 team (that he helped build) but I knew Hak’s departure would hurt recruiting....for a bit. It’s turned around. We have a decent pipeline. We have a lot more kids who are producing than kids who are struggling in juniors.
