  1. He’s a true junior.
  2. What’s are pk %, I feel we give up a pp goal every pk
  3. Poolman tried to lay on it. I could tell it was bouncing around. Long story short, thome pulled a bone head move.
  4. Nope he pushed the net off with glove and blocker on.
  5. What the f was thome doing?
  6. Well...they have better players, we are missing some key cogs, and it's in Duluth. Here's hoping to a lucky split.
  7. Orono lost everyone from last year.
  8. Without all those guys we’ll get crushed
  9. Pots was never staying home.
  10. Hockey is the ultimate late bloomer sport. But when Rauhauser commited to BG we had better commits coming here. He just continued to develop better
  11. Yeah, I know. More of a joke.
  12. So something must be wrong at BC...Patrick Moynihan ever so discretely flipped from Providence to BC over the weekend. How didn't we get on any of these high end BC de-commits?
  13. I think you really have to compare against the kids that committed that same year. Sure Benson was a good HS player but that was in ND. He was also undrafted and from what I can remember player 3 years of juniors Again, no knock on Benson but I would bet that the kids UND committed during the same time frame were better recruits at the time.
  14. Kiersted was a much higher prospect than Lizotte at the same age.
  15. Worth’s issue is that he doesn’t play any D and he can’t skate. It will most likely hamper him in juniors and college.
  16. Carter Batchelder ('03) gave his verbal to CC. I'm pretty sure we were after him as well.
  17. I noticed that too. Stats at higher competition were underwhelming. However, TBH a lot of Worth's goals were because of him. It just shows the difference between HS hockey and juniors. Whole different animal. Every kid is good and dominated wherever they came from.
  18. With SCSU, MN, UMD, and even Mankato having solid teams the competition can be stiff. Plus, there are tons of good kids in Canada and other parts of the US. It's just a slight dry spell, I wouldn't look too far into it. The reason Bubs likes recruiting junior leagues is because those leagues have far greater competition (obviously). The kids aren't all putting up video game numbers and the one's that do are the one's to look at
  19. Yup, we split this weekend.
  20. Oh sure, definitely.
  21. I don't fault kids for staying back and playing HS hockey. Does is slow development? For all but the most gifted, I believe so (vs going NTDP). But I believe the good ones always end up at the same spot, it just depends on how long it takes to get there.
  22. Yeah, I initially heard he was coming back but after what he was doing in the USHL I would be shocked to see him back. Nothing more to prove at the HS ranks.
