We’ve been losing recruiting battles for a little while now. We do have some nice ones in the pipeline. But we’ve lost a bunch too, to schools we typically don’t lose them to. Things need to turn around here soon.

A lot of his recruits played ushl as well...and had success in that league.

Isn’t that what he’s saying? The issue is that without jones our senior class isn’t that productive and our junior class is terrible. You’re leaving everything to a sophomore class (that is underachieving) and freshman.

I’m comparing this team to past teams.

Sure but we used to have 12-13 draft picks on outlets team in the mid to late 2000s. Now we have like 5-6?

Then get role players that are skilled. Don’t pull third liners from junior teams. We have 3/4 of them. We have multiple players that did nothing in juniors

Their players are better than ours, top to bottom

Duluth is really good. But even with our injuries we should be able to play with them. Recruiting has to be fixed. No more role players, skilled players only.

I know we are missing some players, but this is a different age. Something isn’t right. We are average.

I get we’re missing players, but our mediocrity is emabarasing.

Can i name defensemen? who will be nhl regular forwards on our team? I’m talking about high end college players. They are loaded.

Hockey is the ultimate late bloomer sport. But when Rauhauser commited to BG we had better commits coming here. He just continued to develop better
