Sounds like Berry was trying to push him a year...he wanted to play this year. If so, you have to bring players in with his skills. I’ve heard he may have been a tough recruit...his dad calls the shots and he’s known to be difficult

12 pts in 13 games....and those numbers aren't very high considering the league he's playing in. Again, just being honest. He's in his +1 post draft year. There can be other factors at play too (injuries, coaching, team, etc.).

I am fully aware of that. Just saying, the USHL isn't coming easy for him. As it relates to Bowen, I have followed the BCHL for quite a long time....his numbers don't pop out at me. Typically higher end kids in that league go well above a pt/gm pace. He has never been a pt/gm, even this year (post draft year). Maybe he's more of a role player....that's fine. I simply like to assess what we have coming in. Doesn't look to be a high end recruiting class. I will say this though....Schmaltz is having a decent year and Kunz has really turned it on too.

Costantini is definitely not lighting up the ushl and bowen is coming across (more and more) like a kid that may not end up here. Definitely time to turn it around however college puck doesn’t get easier. Especially if you’re coming up the BC route.

It’s good that got some players from the portal because there is no high enders coming in other than Morrow...and we don’t even know if he’s coming in yet. But, really tough to know what these guys will bring...definitely a weaker conference top to bottom. On a positive note, they’re all old so that should help a bit. Here’s hoping Bubs lands some high enders over the next few years

He's solid you just never know when kids jump conferences. Jandric is a name tied to us a bit. He put up great numbers in Fairbanks however last year in Denver was fairly avg. I'm assuming he was a PP guy in Fairbanks and not in Denver.

Agreed...that's why I added "if there's more to it". He could have had a poor attitude and wanted him out.

That's what happens when a kid sits 4th line year two. Not sure he necessarily deserved a higher spot....but man....he would have had the chance at a top 6 role next year. Super dumb decision unless there's more too it.

Definitely a bad year, but no he didn't play in all games and has been known to be a scorer in the past. He had 12 pts in his frosh year which is ok as well. Underclassman are underclassman....with your thinking Adams would have been cut too. 15 total points his first two years in more games played. My point isn't that Blaisdell will tear it up next year, it's to not write off underclassman in college hockey. He has a decent motor but was buried on the 4th line all year. If he's around he should get a look in the top 6 next year. He has that pedigree.
