  1. Schmaltz was our only other commit there correct?
  2. Yeah Adams. He needs to play, id put him on line 1-2 to start the year.
  3. If he’s not top 9 with pp minutes he’s not on the ice.
  4. I think the junior class will pick it up a bit. I could see a guy like hoff step up. Also, Colton poolman has been nice. And we’re were supposed to have Jost for his sophomore year, I’m guessing he would have done some damage had he stayed.
  5. Haha that’s the first thing I was thinking. I believe BC and UM have missed though.
  6. Anyone have any info on which UND players are at development camps? I’ve heard about pool man and Cole smith. I would think nick jones would get an invite after the year he had last year.
  7. His tenure more like in and out
  8. I wouldn’t call them mid level players. Typically they are players very good at what they do (grinding, penalty kill, etc). Many times these types of players put up big numbers in a junior league however are more mid range at the college level. Still good players though, sometimes these types of players even crack the nhl serving that same role...because they are elite at it.
  9. You’re too focused on a term :). The term blue chip is from an NHL perspective not a college prospect perspective. There can be many awesome college hockey prospects who are not considered blue chips.
  10. That’s why I said a blend of high enders and role players
  11. A team can’t have 4-5 blue chip 18 year olds and that’s it. Not in today’s college hockey. Need to have a blend of blue chips/higher end players and some overage grind players that wear a team down. Look at the last three national champions.
  12. Hain is one of the rare cases that leaves MN HS Hockey to play for the NTDP and his draft stock is crushed
  13. Weatherby in the 4th to the sharks...knew he’d go early
  14. I was watching the draft, I was almost positive we were going to hear Tychonicks name second to last or last in the first. With all those dmen going I was shocked he wasn’t picked. I’m guessing they’ll be a string of Fs going early in the second. Congrats to JBD though! What is story with Wilde not going yet? Kid was a lotto pick 3 months ago. Both him and Blake McLaughlin both have CHL rumors, both were not invited (shockingly) to USAs summer u20 eval camp, and both just slipped out of the first. Although many scouts did have McLaughlin slipping out of the first.
  15. Right. Now while I doubt hockey players could compete with football players (collectively) in these types of assessments, the gap will be wider now as the hockey players are much younger at the time of assessment.
  16. Donavon has serious size though...and skates well. It will depend how he does before and after the HS season. Could be picked in the top 3 rounds next year if he does well in the ushl.
  17. Randklev could be pushed back a year too.
  18. I am a big stats guy. Always have been and I get fascinated with how players stats trend from one league to another (as they age). I have followed senden relatively closely and I can tell you there’s most likely a good reason why the coaches wanted him to go back another year. The ushl is a very tough league however senden can clearly use another year to continue to develop more on the offensive side of the puck. Some players never do (they hit a ceiling) however he has one year of eligibility left and he should definitely use it. College will get no easier.
  19. Keane is coming in this year. Senden provides depth, pk and is a proven winner. I hope we still bring him in.
  20. How many points did Connor have?
