Maybe, but I honestly think it's all a part of their development. I think most kids are just in too big of a hurry. I should have expanded on my original post. If Kiersted has a great (but not absolutely dominating) year and he also graduates this Spring....that's a different story. Go to the A and continue to climb that ladder I guess. I just have read about some of the higher end potential UFA college guys and he's not listed (other than discussed by Schloss). Only time will tell I guess.

Yep. Getting (and staying) in the show is so tough. The AHL is a beast. You better be dominating NCAA before leaving early. Too many good players in the minors waiting to get the call up. I really like Kiersted, bit he isn’t dominating yet and he isn’t very old.

Sure. Had a decent season last year. Solid player but until he has a great season I wouldn’t jump. Theres just no reason to rush anymore.

Agree for the most part. I felt that our forwards lacked offensive creativity to do anything in the o-zone. The strategy was to get in the o-zone, pass it back to the D, and go to the net for a rebound. Every offensive possession. Did we crash the net hard for rebounds? Not really; not with any sort of consistency. That has to improve dramatically, however, I feel the critical issue with last year's team is they turned into robots. The forward grouped never cycled the puck to their F line mates and never had more than two consecutive passes within the F group. So vanilla. This has to change. I fully understand the importance of having mobile/rangy/offensive-minded D-men however we got way too predictable. Everything was to the perimeter.

I'd like the boys to put up some offensive stats this year. We better have more than one player exceed a pt/gm.

Looks like we are somewhat in the mix for Zachary Bolduc (Mark Divver tweet). Many other colleges higher up on the list most likely and he’s also a top Canadian kid so Q most likely.

Agreed, NCAA makes way more sense given his age. You never though, may not be into school.
