I know, it's funny listening to folks talk about Central this and Central that. They're mostly all South end kids. I really don't care where they go to school and I would rather have my kids play for Parinica over Chase any day. But....they technically are south end kids. Let's not forget.

Sure he cares, a lot I’m sure. Certain folks seem to think he’s something that he’s not. He’s a typical 2nd/3rd line center that is great at draws and defensive responsibilities. He’s a tough guy to play against 5x5. He probably should be nowwhere close to a PP however.

Boy have times changed. When I went to HS central was the school you didn’t want to go to.

Oh I get that, but A LOT of folks on here like to get on higher profile recruits if they aren’t dominating in their underclassmen years.

Underperformed as an underclassmen. I think Wilkie was a great example.

Checking will be gone pretty soon. The younger you teach it the better they’ll be adapting to it when they’re older.

Oh I’m sure. I try not place too much emphasis on underclassmen. If your not productive as an upperclassmen you’re done. Clearly the level is your ceiling.

I think his offensive skills would have helped us last year and definitely this year. I think he is one who takes a while to feel comfortable when moving to new levels. I noticed he struggled his first year in the ushl and had a much better second year.

Look at the program he took over....not a great comparison with our program. Bubs inherited a gem. Don’t want to get into the fire Bubs argument however I simply wanted to point out the error in the comparison.

I think it really depends on if they have players leaving from this year's squad. BU had several high end one and dones. If Wisco brings everyone back, they could be a very solid team next season.

I think he’ll be similar to Tufte, maybe even a bit more sheltered. He probably won’t do much until his junior year. He may even play 4 years. Seems to be taking the slow approach. Which isn’t bad.

They’re too young though, similar to a Wisco this year. Both teams are going through similar struggles as UND is this year. However those teams struggle with D and we struggle with O. I was simply pointing out a fact, that moving forward Wisco should be a dang good hockey team and they are loading up like we did in the mid 2000s. Barring any early departures (which is actually probably likely) they should be very good next year. I can just rationalize why RD’s going there. I’m actually not all that high on the kid.

He’s going there because their recruiting class is juiced for next year and they have a ton of young great players on this year’s team.

No idea, and you’re right Randklev struggled in the ushl this year, he could use 1-2 more years in juniors.
