No, I'm not. I'm saying having a couple beers in the system makes it more fun to stand up and cheer. It used to be the case that seniors could go to the bar and then head to the game right before puck drop and sit in the lower bowl. Now, they have to skip the bar and wait in line for three hours to get a lower bowl seat (and they can't have a beer there either).

I disagree based on personal experience. I started at UND in 2009 and there is a huge difference from even then. Students have ALWAYS been creative in bringing booze in. All that has changed is that there are LESS intoxicated students. Intoxication = loud.

I'm curious - is this you trolling or an educated guess? Does the CHL classify their payments as stipends? And anyone know how much they actually get paid (CHL players)?

I think combining upper/ lower tickets to one first come first serve tickets caused this. Can't pregame or go to the bar beforehand and get a decent seat.

The NFL could share teams. The Wild share their ECHL team with someone.. not sure how it works exactly, but the NFL minor leagues could have something like a ten team league. That's a topic for a different day though.

Invest in the football program and it will pay for itself. Increase attendance by 2k a game X 6 home games X $20 = $240K

You would cut baseball after turfing the infield, because it is a sunk cost. There isn't enough money to go around to make UND baseball competitive - they can't even properly fund basketball. As far as I'm concerned, turfing the infield was a huge waste of money! Why would they not do the whole field? (oh... right.... not enough money) It was like building a house without putting a roof on the thing...

He doesn't report anything that can't be found in a UND press release. He doesn't need resources that the Herald can give him... he needs to develop relationships with people that matter. Sioux Football Insider dominates him in quality of content, and they do it for free.

I don't think he cares about anything. Sioux Sports breaks every story before him... I don't think he does any investigative journalism. He never really knows what is going on with recruits or injuries, and he always says he hasn't been to practices in a while.... sorry Tom.

More than anything, they need to work on their in game production. Hire the Ralph people to do it. Pregame intro sucks and their use of the video board is a huge waste. Agree with the skylights as well.

Please don't even start with the wingspan is a disadvantage to bench pressing bs. So most people with short arms can bench more than bigger people? lol. People who are big and cant bench much don't work at it.
