  1. Shanks with double figures now 67-62 UND 4:07 2nd
  2. this half has just been a hack fest. some ticky tack stuff both ways.
  3. Uh oh.... Lenny went down for a bit.
  4. UND pulls off a 67-52 win at home verses SUU Trails Montana by a game after they drop one to EWU tonight, and now tied for 2nd in conference with Sac State.
  5. nice behind the back pass from Hooker to Nash for a dunk
  6. Shanks just works his butt off in both ends of the floor. Gets better every game.
  7. UND begins the 2nd half of the Big Sky schedule with a trip down to Cedar City to take on the much improved T-Birds. UND leads the all time series since joining the Big Sky (3-2), however they have yet to win in Cedar City (0-2) UND sits a half game behind Idaho for the last spot and a half game ahead of SUU. This is another critical game for UND to get to keep the teams competing for that last spot behind them in the head to head comparison. UND has slowly been improving since the start of Big Sky play, and this is the time of year that Jones's teams historically have started to play better, but will the 4 close losses at home so far this year be enough to keep them out. WE NEED THIS GAME, we need to start stealing games on the road. Other games UNC @ NAU EWU @ MONT IDAHO @ MSU
  8. Section 3A called, it has a case to make
  9. And more of the: im just here because its cool... let me take a selfie group. Why are we cheering?
  10. I got the color of bills hoodie right. I liked the breaking bad commercial.
  11. Wow. Gutsy call by the Hawks. But I love the call
  12. Got my student regional tickets tonight. Cant wait!
  13. Must win. Cannot afford to drop to 2-7. Expect a big game from Hooker this afternoon.
  14. My head says split my heart says sweep my gut says series win. Im going with my heart and my green shaded glasses. Sweep!
  15. One of the requirements for that list is that a player needs to play at least half their games. So that list of all academic big sky players will be smaller.doesn't mean that everyone else was under 3.2 Ill get back on the road again but thought I would clarify for our new guest.
  16. Poor girl cant catch a break it seems. When healthy she can help bridge our biggest weaknesses of bench and 3 point scoring. Hope she can get healthy and have an impact on this team.
  17. Agree on that, haven't seen a OH/MB that has been under 6'. It will be nice to have when we have to deal with some of the taller teams in the conference. The Place girl is really good, one of the better player to come out of Heron Lake-Okabena (for any of the older posters from or used to be from the SW Minnesota area, the former Southwest Star Concept). Strong volleyball program, but always in one of the toughest sections of the state in their class (section 3A, which perennial powers Minneota, historically strong programs in Tracy-Milroy-Balaton and Central Minnesota Christian.) I do agree that next season will depend on the setter... fortunately, I think Griffin will step in and fill Nikki's shoes just fine.
  18. Nash looked good from the line as well (9-10 for the whole weekend). Lenny had a nice game as well too, picked up the slack from De Rouen and Tyler, who didn't have the greatest of shooting nights. They needed to get at least one of these games this weekend and they did that. The Weber/ISU games are to me a must sweep situation. Weber is struggling right now and we need to jump all over that on Thursday. They will eventually get it going and start the march back up the conference leaderboard, make sure it is not against us. ISU is still expected to compete for a playoff spot so winning that game could mean the difference between getting in and behind left out. 4-5 at the end of the first half, with SUU x2, NAU x2, MSU, Mont, @ PSU, @ UNC, and @ Sac for the 2nd half of the conference schedule. IMO, we need to finish at a minimum 7-4 the rest of the way, and that should get UND in. 8-3 would be better. Anything less and they will need help, but how the conference is shaking out right now, 9 is the magic number.
  19. It was a big weekend for the girls and got 2 huge wins. Right back up toward the top of the standings. Could be in a 3 way tie for 2nd if SUU knocks off Montana tonight. Big game from Knox off the bench, Szabla and Dyer attacked the rim at will, Mia was Mia. Take care of business against Weber and ISU and get back home 7-2. Also: Time to start the Lauck, Evers, and Loyd watch: They are at 903, 881, 858 career points respectively. With 11 games left and how many other they get in Big Sky tourney/postseason. We could see all 3 get to 1000 points this year. (Who gets there first will be interesting.)
  20. Lets go! This would be a big win if we can get it
