  1. I think a fair question to ask is how much is UND actively trying to access that alumni base. I know of what some of the CC and UND alumni association does, but how good are they at their outreach? i.e: people like myself, who while I cannot donate thousands of dollars, might be able to do a tens or hundreds of dollars a year. I will never be a big fish but if you get enough of those small and medium fish, that might be a big help in sustaining something.
  2. Twins haven't even gotten paid by Bally. MLB has filed an emergency petition saying: You pay the Twins by April 13th or terminate the contract so the team can take it over. Cleveland is in the same boat.
  3. Twins are having some issues with their TV contract.
  4. I liked the Cream with the Twin Cities on the jersey. Hope they break those out shortly.
  5. Haven't heard much yet, but I'm sure this will be picking up soon in the month of April.
  6. So with that, UND currently has 4 returning starters (T, Danielson, Trent, Omot) and 3 reserves (Eaglestaff, Mathews, Brooks)
  7. One man's opinion: If he had fully focused on FB from the jump in college, he would have been a far better FB player than Basketball player. Should have played for Fleck instead of Pitino.
  8. He's worth a flyer in my mind. He's playing the sport he should have been playing to begin with.
  9. Kacie has a great chance of getting to 2,000 career points and probably will go down as the 2nd leading scorer in program history. She'll need to up her scoring or play a few more games to catch Crouse. With her back and a good core, it is time to push all in and go for it
  10. Kacie's back for 1 more go around
  11. Those road games against UNI and USD are going to be huge. Can they win these types of games on the road? That will be the next progression of the program. Need to beat USD more consistently in Verm. They too could be a playoff team (have you seen THEIR schedule?)
  12. I see anywhere between 7-4 and 9-2 (all depending on how much the defense gets better)
  13. Lots of good recruits from the Metro, hope they can snag a few of them
  14. I, or someone else can fact check this, but when UND agreed to joined the Summit, they agreed that they would sponser these sports for the next 8 years or suffer a penalty. Now they made this agreement before they went back to the cutting board and since they cut swimming, they had to pay a penalty. I remember 150k, but certainly could have been 100k
  15. Problem I believe is that any sport that UND drops, that is sponsered by the Summit, they have to pay a penalty. When they dropped swimming, they had to pay a penalty.
  16. I'm still on the mens soccer bandwagon. You have all of the infrastrucutre right now and would have a near monopoly of the ND/SD/MN talent. *Of course, UND isn't adding a sport anytime soon.
  17. Maybe not, say for example... NDSU had offered them instead and they accepted. Then you have arguable the top 3 kids from ND going to the Bison and people up in arms saying: Sather can't get homestate kids that aren't legacy kids. Who really knows if they were going to be there at the end. The staff thinks that they can help the team going foward, we shall see.
  18. UND needs to use their scholarhips on the following (in order of importance) 1) A big at either the 4 or 5 position: This to me, along with other people on this board, is the most important position to fill. This will allow UND to get better at 2 positions: At the 4/5 spot in the lineup and allowing Omot to slide to the 3 spot. 2) The point guard of the future: Need to think ahead for 24-25 in this spot. I really feel you need to keep Eaglestaff at the 2 spot but he can work the PG position in a pinch, but you need that playmaker to lead the 2nd unit and someone to groom to take over the position next year when Trent graduates 3) Best player available Now, if you address 1 and 2 correctly, then you have more wiggle room on this one. If you can add some shooting with this spot, especially in a bench role, that would be good to pair nicely with the backup point guard. If you hit on these scholarships, with the core... they could contend for a top 3 spot. Yes, I said it. They absolutely can content for a top 3 spot as soon as next year.
  19. The staff needs to develop them to their fullest potential. I have faith they will do so. Do I expect them to help out next year? No, because I think this staff will land some talent with the scholarships that are left
  20. There have been many cases where a Summit League team has been their only D1 offer and they have turned out okay. Like you said, let's wait and see.
  21. Got the post for Norman handy? Do you know where Brady made his announcement?
  22. I would be really surprised if both Erikson and Bothun are PWOs
