Kuper was the best guard in his division and Kleinsasser was the best non OL blocker in the league.
-
Forgot about that one. Can you blame me?
-
"players on active NFL rosters" I'd rather have two starters who are as good as anyone in the league at their positions like we had with Kuper and Kleinsasser. We have 0 right now obviously but that will change.
-
Zane was piss poor against BU. Especially the one classic softie. I'm confident in Cam. We can tell him that DU stands for Detroit U and that BC is Battle Creek.
-
Our lack of success against them recently should be a good thing for us. They haven't lost to us in three straight. That'll be tough to make 4 against any team.
-
Much better? Tough to compare with the discrepancy in competition.
-
Sherlie you can't be serious.
-
He didn't look great against BC but his team was pretty overmatched. Buccigross was certainly all over his dick though.

http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-football/4000376-und-football-und-interior-line-getting-speed A little hint by coach Knaupf? “We’ll find out more in the fall at center,” Knauf said. “It’s a two-man race right now, but it could be a three-man race when we get going in the fall. We might be doing some shuffling in the fall based on who’s coming in.”

Sets a tone as in he's going to go balls out every shift and be a real pain in the ass to play against. That's a contagious thing.
-
Which pro day is he at?
-
Interesting. He's got some wheels and some shake.
-
Maybe he'll do track at Michigan?

One thing that needs to be in the back of everyone's mind is that you notice things that happen to your team so it seems like it only happens to them. It happens to everyone. NDSU loses really good players every year. They had a kid that was a 3 star recruit out of Arizona that their fans thought was the second coming when he committed and now he's not on their roster anymore. It even happens to the 5 time defending champs so I wouldn't worry too much about this. It's not the same as it was under Muss. Those days are long gone. In Bubba we trust.
-
Recruiting is such a crap shoot for everyone that you can't really expect 100% retention rates.
-
In theory. Technically he didn't really do much. Fast and ripped and all but who knows if he would've even panned out. I agree it is a loss since he had great physical gifts but I'm not going to say it will really hurt us because who really knows.
-
They focused on the DL DB and RB and look at those now. Those were three glaring holes in the roster and they really bolstered them. I really hope they can do the same for QB WR and OL. Eventually, i think in a year or two, we will have as good a roster in terms of talent and depth as anyone.
-
If he actually laces em up for UND would he be the biggest tender we've ever had?
-
Maybe they find late drop down or JUCO? WR seems like a weak spot for Bubba and co in recruiting so far. Hopefully they hit on a couple this year and next because we could really be a good offense with some play makers on the edge to compliment our loaded backfield.

I watched them 3 times. Connor has amazing skill with the puck and can really fly but he just doesn't work for it. Not my type of player. Compher as I said before could fit on our team.
-
I'm basing my opinion on watching him play. I was impressed with his skill but nothing else. He played with one foot out the door it seemed.
-
In a league that doesn't play defense. I bet Boeser would have put up similar numbers in that league while still playing defense. Those stats are very inflated.
-
Easy now. Boeser is better than Duncan. But Jewels better than Oshie? Schmaltz better than Toews? Absolutly not.
-
I wouldn't touch Connor. I he didn't fight for the puck when he was knocked off of it. He's just not a competitor like Compher was. All of our guys fight like mad for the puck. I'd rather have Simo than Connor. He's tough and sets a tone.

For the first time in years I can look at the DBs on the roster and honestly say they are experienced and talented. What a relief. It took way too long but it's finally time to have high expectations for this position group.
