Three juniors. That's pretty cool. Also shows how young our team is. I like what I see for next year. Maybe another piece or two and we'll really be in business.
That's what I'm talking about. There were plenty of NDSU fans saying it wouldn't be very intense since all the students would be in your shoes with no experience of the rivalry. I was at the game and can attest that it was very much a rivalry game and as intense as the other UND NDSU games I've been to. I doubt the series against the Gophers will be much different.
12 years between UND NDSU football and things didn't cool down. Fargo vs Grand Forks and U vs State still mean a lot. MN vs ND means a lot in more than just hockey. And we just won a title so interest should be huge.
For perspective, some of the fastest guys on the team didn't run. For added perspective, we only had two guys run sub 4.5(adjusted) when I played.

So Santiago ran a 4.59 40. This translates to a 4.37. The way UND times 40s is over .1 slower than the NFL combine 40s. And .22 slower than what you'd get from a pro day. In other words, he's blazing fast, as if we didn't already know.
I've heard Ben Brien is working on a legit rendition of a fighting Hawks logo. Not sure what his plans are with it but I'm curious to see how it turns out.
