This is the game where special teams could cost us. This is the first true litmus year for that unit and if they are capable of just not completely blowing a game ala the Richmond game.

Sometimes it is a little fun to go back and look at the swing of emotions from a game where we start poorly and finish strong. Maybe it’s a bit of a guilty pleasure. At least we’re not as bad as Montana fans.

We can pair that easily with our power run game and have defenses in a constant catch 22 situation.

I’ve felt for a while that the offense operates better when Santiago isn’t in the backfield. Defenses just key so damn hard on him that it’s tough to have balance. It’s also nice that Brady and JJ get an extra few yards each carry due to strength.
