If they could make it happen over 2 Weekends I would be good with single elimination. No to weekday games and no to expanding it over 3 weekends. Have the 1 seed host 1v8 and 4v5 games Friday and semifinal on Saturday. 2 seed host 2v7 and 3v6 Friday and Semifinal on Saturday. Championship is played the next weekend at higher seed.

If they are going to do the international games than have every team do an international game and make it a neutral site game. With a 17 game season every team would have 8 home, 8 away and 1 Neutral. I kind of like the 8:30am game on a Sunday morning.

Not anymore. At one point chipotle was way better. Qdoba pasted them a couple years ago. Chipotle has become a lot like Taco Bell, kind of gross.

TBH I find your behavior kind of odd in this situation and your self-awareness odd. UND fan are probably the most hated. UND fans travel the better than any other fanbase. Fans hate when you take over their arena. What did you expect? My response would have probably been yeah the checks out.

I would guess and maybe I'm wrong, but I think they would be a member of the EDC now. The 1 game would be worth 6 points, and they would not longer be given the 10 seed automatically. Where ever they place in the standing is the seed they would get.

Rather than making both team agree to 6 point games, make them all 1 game for 6 points and than leave it up to the schools to determine if they want to add a 2nd game and make each worth 3 points. This isn't the NHL or Juniors, they play plenty of games in the year. Last thing the school district needs is to add more travel expenses for hockey to the school budget.

To me it felt like Powers was looking to get ejected, similar to how a Baseball Manager argues a call looking to get ejected. I don't think he cared if he was ejected or not, just wanted out. The were looking to sweep and get a big jump in the NPI and instead get swept on their home ice. Looks to me like after the weekend they will need to win the conference tournament to make the tournament.

My theory would be that the big money is at the Major College Basketball level. D2 to Mid Major or D3 to D2 are not going to provide much in NIL money. Mid Major to P4 is where the real money is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the team nominate the players? Kind of surprised Ben Strinden is not on the list. Arguably our 4 most impactful players are freshman. Zellers, Reschny, Verhoeff and Spunar. Freshman have to be really exceptional to win it.

If the NCAA would do a better job of making sure Athletes are going to class full time and taking classes toward getting a Bachler's degree or masters degree it would solve a lot of these issues. I hear of too many 5 or 6 year players just taking 1 or 2 easy A classes. Is this guy a full time student?

I actually love the Homer color/PXP guy. I don't care what side he is a homer towards. It shows he cares. Kind of like when a Visiting team wants to silent the crowd.

I believe you are correct about the Co-op. EGF didn't want to Co-op and take opportunities away from their students. SH should have just told them if we can't Co-op we will just start your own team and be AA. I'm not sure how many EGF, GFC, and GFRR parents would pay for there kids to play AA Minnesota hockey, but I'm guessing with the amount parents pay for Hockey already they could make it work.

Not a good look for the university. It screams bait and switch. You expect to get $1 hotdogs and end up having to spend much more than expected to eat. Why would someone want to come back if you have a bad experience like that?

Please explain how a Davies team with a losing record, currently in 6th place is a lock.

My idea to fix OT. If tied after regulation, treat the end of the game like the end of the Quarter. Change sides, same team that has the ball keeps the ball with same down and distance. First team to score wins.

Both games that went into OT this weekend, the team that won the coin toss lost the game. IMO team are overthinking it, and kicking off after they win the toss. All because they then know what they need to do when they get the ball the first time. The problem is the are getting the ball one less time. The winning team in both game won the game the 2nd time they got the ball and the losing team only ended up with the ball once.

How do you feel about ASU being in? Not Hockey first that's for sure.
