Wisconsin doesn't have 8 games a year locked up to in state opponents. That's the difference. Minnesota was working on this while UND was in talks with Wisconsin. This was more important to Minnesota, and it's rightfully so. Minnesota and UND will play again, but they might have a 2 year hiatus. I think once there's an opening on each teams schedule the teams will play each other every year. What happened to every single person on here a month and a half ago that was saying "We don't even care if we don't play Minnesota. Denver's a bigger rival."

Not exactly sure. Just heard he doesn't have a ton of colleges after him. Maybe he had a couple set that he wanted to attend and never got any interest from them? Exactly. From what I saw in the game today the kid has some definite potential to be a role player on an NCAA team. Probably not star caliber, but who cares.

Well, it seems that the talk about DU making schedule arrangements with UMN and UW are HIGHLY likely to be true, this according to Chuck Schwartz who said in this article he talked with the guy from "Let's Go DU!" about his source. Schwartz said that he won't say the source but that it's very reliable. I have no doubt that Hakstol will win an NCAA title eventually. Definitely don't think it will be this year due to all the injuries, but even as soon as next year he could have one.

Don't forget, BSU did give UND some fits earlier this season. IMO, if UND doesn't sweep in the first round they're in trouble as far as the Final Five is concerned. With their short roster and not being a top 2 seed, they would have to play 6 games in 9 days if they were to win the Broadmoor. Playing 6 games in 9 days would be a tough feat even for a full roster.

Lord help us all if that ever happens.... Obviously Brad has to cater to the UND fan base first, but when I ask him questions as a Gopher fan I'm always satisfied with the non-biased answers I seem to get back from him. He's a great reporter and it's no surprise he's quite possibly the most respected journalist in the WCHA.

Roman is absolutely terrible. Brad knows more about Gopher players than Roman does . Brad does his job and he loves it. Roman does his job because that's what he was assigned. There's a HUGE difference.
