Looks like that would be the ideal regional to get into. St. Paul has been dubbed by many people the region of death. Seems every scenario for that regional will make it the hardest one. For the sake of Minnesota, I hope not . Sucks that it's almost impossible to get Minnesota and Duluth out of the same bracket, unless Duluth stays a one seed and Minnesota manages to drop to a four.

Not too bad. Add in FSN and there was probably between 70,000-90,000 viewers. I wish FSN would tell what type of ratings they get for Gophers hockey. Can't find it anywhere. It truly is insane how many UND alumni live in Denver

Not really. College hockey just isn't popular. Plain and simple. The ratings aren't as high as many people would think.

I would love to know how Minnesota and Denver drew. Obviously those numbers would be skewed some since FSN also did the broadcast which more than likely took at least 10,000 viewers away from them since many people probably had no idea Minnesota was even on NBCSN. But I'd still love to know.

Not sure what thread to put this in, so I put it in here. There was a story posted in the NY Times today about how USA Hockey and Hockey Canada are going to push to ban fighting on all levels that aren't considered professional, this does include the Major Juniors. It's essentially the most popular burger in the TC and it originated there. They take 2 1/4 beef patties and put some cheese in the middle of them. Then they pinch the patties together to make one half pound patty that, when cooked, has a pocket of hot, molten cheese oosing from the inside. It's delicioius.

MacWilliams hit was definitely clean. Hockey is getting screwed by people who can't take a hit anymore. You might as well keep your head down from now on because if you get leveled with your head down you'll draw a penalty. Just stupid

I still don't think his play is that bad. He's just a player that knows how to get under the opponents skin. The play tonight that you're talking about was STUPID, though. I still don't agree with the suspension he got from the Zucker hit. That hit wasn't bad at all other than the late-ness of it. Kristo's hit on Marshall was worse.

Gophers beat UNO 3-2 in OT. Looks like UMN is going to play UW in an outdoor game at Soldier Field in February next season and Rau just stabbed a guy in the neck with one skate and baseball swung another guy in the neck right after. USA Hockey has suspended him from hockey for life.

StPaulSiouxFan, who has the best Juicy Lucy in the cities? I've only had the 5-8 club so far and absolutely loved it. I've gone there the last 5 times i've been in the cities now. I've heard a lot about the Blue Door.
