Anyone hear who TH & company picked for the roughneck player of the game? Thompson made 3rd star at the game. The first decent shift to play in the offensive zone was with 4 freshmen and Chyzyk during the first period. Didn't notice them too much after that. I thought Parks played his heart out, helped take a few seconds off the clock on the penalty kill a few times, made some nice plays. Rocco is always fun to watch but not the greatest at passing, maybe if they could find someone to camp out by the net and tell Rocco to just shoot the puck that way instead of passing?? Miss having the Sioux, this is not how Sioux hockey is played.

I see Greene was listed as benched for a few games, then not on the list. I read somewhere last night that he is sidelined for an upper body injury? Any info on that?

Seems like our injuries of a couple years ago was what brought the team together. Maybe we can get the injuries done before the new year and have a cohesive team by then also? Here's hoping.

Before every period at UND, they annouce "Lets get ready for some old time North Dakota hockey". Or something to that effect. Doesn't that mean we would be playing 3 players at all times with 2 in the penalty box? With the change in rules, our old time players would be constantly called.

Last year, our understaffed, overachieving team seemed like they must have found "it". I think that is why so many people have been disappointed this year, thinking the team had "it" but somehow "it" got lost over the past summer.

Standing Rock dropped the ball several years ago. Fighting Sioux may be in our hearts forever, but on our future jerseys- never.

I thought it looked like Kristo took a shot on net from about 10 feet out, was wondering if it hit Rowney by the net before it got to Winkler. I would like to see a replay of that to see if I was dreaming.

Another miracle on ice: The rule of 3 DQ's and out for the season started when Commodore was here and he already had 2 DQs. The miracle is HE LASTED THE WHOLE SEASON! I thought he would be out by November.
