    I just don't see it I guess. The eye is good but the rest is really not good (I've been trying to resist the urge to call it straight up bad out of respect for Bennet Brien, but....). I feel quite confident saying if SME had released the Bennet Brien logo and Bennet Brien released the clean SME logo, most of the complainers would be cheerleading the clean look.

    It was going to be hard to maintain the level of our defense, but I feel like that's where we are seeing the biggest drop off in number of drafted players. With how prior 1st round UND defenseman have struggled to make the nhl in recent years (Finley, Forbort, Schmaltz) i hope we aren't getting a bad reputation. Scares me a bit.

    Boston U now with 4 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder. What's going on there? I can understand recruits liking the Boston area, but how does BC not end up with any of them? I don't want to accuse them of anything, but something seems off.

    Yep. If that was never Iowa's logo and UND just released that same thing as our new logo, people would be just as angry (if not angrier) than they are now.

    The bolder lines are a very good addition. Would be nice if UND made similar alterations (I also wouldn't mind seeing the top left corner of the "N" be more in line with the bottom right corner of the "N")

    Native American headdress = No dice Also just an ugly logo. Judging by the eye, this bird likes to party with hard drugs. The ham-handed attempt to incorporate an outline of the state also looks pretty terrible. The shuttlecock logo (getting rid of the button that made the feathers appear native) is much better than this one, IMO.

    That's not what I said. I wasn't saying there would be no resistance if not for the hockey team. What I'm saying is if the hockey team came out in support of moving forward, the resistance would die down much quicker. Instead, certain individuals are feeding the flames.

    They're rodents. If UND's logo was a hawk with a chipmunk tail, beaver teeth, and eyebrows.... wearing a sweater.... and skipping.... this site would've crashed yesterday.
