  1. I've found it to be good bar food. Good burgers and most apps, not the best wings. It's located where Big Daddys used to be. Major improvement over Big Daddys.
  2. Re Hajdu tweet, my guess is: 1. New logo 2. New boards 3. Schmaltz decision 4. Jones 1 year extension 5. He's looking for volunteers to help with the lawn at Hak's lake home.
  3. It's extra funny when it angers bison fans who try to pretend to be UND fans. Bonus points to you Sic.
  4. I can see a scenario where this works out to his benefit. A verbal commitment is only worth the paper it's written on. Recruiting doesn't stop after a verbal. The bar has now been set at "offer a scholarship or I'm going to fargo." It does certainly reduce/eliminate the chance of ndsu offering a scholarship without being forced to by his de-committment though.
  5. I can understand how AGS would be confused with bville though.
  6. Release it immediately and get all the crazies taken care of before President Kennedy comes in.
  7. Every coach in South Dakota.

41 is atrocious. Good to see things are improving.
  9. I'd hope, for his sake, it's a very soft commitment. Not sure why you'd want to go someplace you aren't valued enough to keep a walk-on offer open for.
  10. I don't remember ever calling you out on your weekly ndsu posts prior to now. Also, viewing a bunch of terrible logos could be good for fostering acceptance of the new hawk logo. Here's a terrible mascot: I've decided that as a moderator, I'm only going to censor your moo u posts in the future. Sorry.
  11. Darell, you bring them up out of left field significantly more often than any other single poster on this board. It is what it is.
  12. I wonder if he's the one Schwenzfeier tweeted about. I'd have guessed it was the new USD coaching staff.
  13. So Hagerott didn't tell the campuses to avoid permanent solutions. Understood. Petty arguments aside (I'll admit we were both wrong/misleading on certain items), permanent solutions are needed. I think everyone is beginning to recognize that now (some recognized it earlier). Schafer believes in planning ahead and preparing for the funding cuts now. I don't think he's wrong for that, as mcfeely implies in his conspiratorial rant (which I can only assume must've been alcohol/drug-infused).
  14. Now, from the memo: I'm sure it must say avoid permanent solutions in there someplace.
  15. You have proof of that, right? Because I'm sitting here looking at Hagerott's guidelines, and they don't say that at all. Pretty much the opposite.
  16. I wouldn't go that far, he does have a head start though. There also seems to have been a slight shift in culture at UND, where departments are now looking to save money even when they aren't being specifically asked to.
  17. Had he came to UND, the flopping and whining would've been coached out of his game. UND could've saved the NHL players and fans some headaches.
  18. The campuses had 2 weeks to identify the line items to cut from, seeing as they only have 2 lines, that wasn't real difficult or involved. The only decision was whether to cut building maintenance or something else. I'm also looking at the guidelines he sent out right now, and although they do not specifically state to make deep ongoing cuts, they certainly don't say the opposite. Accelerate ongoing efficiency efforts, examine academic courses, and evaluate faculty course loads certainly sound like items that may have an ongoing effect on the budget to me, and go figure, they also sound like what UND did. UND also used the budget issues as an excuse to nix programs that have been on the chopping block for a decade. As for the rest, I've never said UND didn't have a steeper hill to climb from the start due to Kelley's mismanagement.
