I'm thinking the Forum finally got a small taste of what many have been dealing with for years.

That article is 7 years old. Ndsu president's house ended up around $2.5 million and still wasn't finished. Not sure, but I think the house fiasco has been brought up again because some bizun fans were saying the Forum has never given ndsu anything. Forum owner donated either $900,000 or $1 million (I've seen both numbers reported) each to UND and ndsu for the new houses.

The actual "sin" in this case (dumb media policy) wasn't even a very big deal. But the lies and failed cover-up stemming from it just shine a light on who Bresciani is and what kind of culture he fosters at ndsu.

He didn't take the fall for anyone. He took the credit for respecting the press and threw his subordinates under the bus. The Port blog has been updated to include emails now. Bresciani doesn't even temper his arrogance when talking down to the chancellor.

I guess I'm not a big fan of extended prison sentences for people who didn't physically or financially harm anyone else.

But you were fine with destroying tradition with the Fighting Sioux nickname which replaced the Sioux nickname which replaced the Flickertails nickname.

I guess it makes sense for a gopher fan to hope for UND to self-destruct.
