  1. I guess I'd rate several of them less harshly than you. If we get 1 year out of them (Hinojosa, JIS), then they kind of served their purpose as a stop-gap for the HS recruits to get ready to play, which is worth at least a neutral in my book. As for giving injured players (Arrington, Simmons) a negative, I struggle with that too. They didn't get injured because they're a transfer, it's mostly just bad luck, so it shouldn't reflect poorly on transfers overall.

    BG game

Their logo is definitely worse than ours....
  3. I hope the coaches had them doing bag skates after the game.
  4. User Actions Following UND Men's Basketball‏@UNDmbasketball New @myUND President and former little league hoops coach Mark Kennedy talks to UND Little Hoopers campers Tuesday Looking at this tweet, apparently they put up some score boards. Assuming there is one on the opposite side as well. It would've been nice to have them just shift the entire old score/stat boards around so we can still see the individual players points, fouls, etc. but maybe it would've interfered with sight lines or the practice hoops.
  5. Did he actually say that or is that just the word on bisonvile?

    2016 Season

Poor D line and wide receivers sounds like a good match-up for UND to exploit.
  7. Interesting. For restaurants, fires are often the result of a dirty kitchen.
  8. Nice! Welcome Noah. Judging by his Twitter, I wonder if he'll swim at UND too. Anyone know how much the seasons interfere? On a separate note. I see Travis from Wisconsin, who is a good source for Wisconsin HS FB info, posted something about being surprised none of the Dakota schools have offered Sam Santiago-Lloyd. His hudl is a fun watch. http://www.hudl.com/video/3/3026505/5721d77ae984d413d420d385 Guy just rag-dolls opponents and leaves a trail of would-be tacklers in his wake.
  9. With all the good Big 12 schools leaving, perhaps Wichita St. will join the Big 12 instead of the imaginary WAC?
  10. I was referring to just using the logo pictured here.
  11. Agreed. Guessing you (MafiaMan) couldn't use that one due to trademarks?
  12. Personally, I don't really like this. Hopefully the investment pays off and students realize the games are a good time so we don't need to continue this "promotion" in the future.
  13. K, maybe being farther from the oil fields has saved it. I've heard horror stories about the My Place Hotels in Bismarck, Minot, and Dickinson.
  14. Both the coaches poll and the media poll, I guess.
  15. There is also a La Quinta in that hotel grouping by the Alerus. Pretty much all of these hotels are new within the last 10 years and are an easy walk to the game. One warning, assuming it's anything like the other "My Place Hotels" that have been thrown together throughout ND, I'd probably avoid that one in Grand Forks. Others that are a farther walk or a simple short drive include the Hilton Garden Inn, Springhill Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Country Inn & Suites. These are all relatively newer/nicer (see: clean) hotels as well.
  16. If I haven't read the last comment, it brings me to the last comment. But if I have already read the last comment, it brings me to page 1. This seems to have just started happening in the last week or so.
  17. Pretty rich coming from a Fargo fan.
  18. You're right, your boys have been through enough.
  19. Minor enough to not make the papers.
  20. It is interesting to see a D1 football team in North Dakota kick a starter off the team for minor violations.....
  21. Mackey 2.0, but now includes cover skills?
