UNC RBs averaged 6.8 ypc!

I didn't get to watch the game on Saturday, but after watching this morning, there are definitely still a lot of things for UND to work on. UNC is a BAD team, so our offense being successful against them doesn't do much for me. It's what we've seen the last five years under Rudy. When we're bigger, stronger, faster, and better than the opponent, our style is successful. When facing a competent opponent, we struggle. The O scored 3 points in the 1st and 3rd quarters combined against a very bad team. As for the defense, the rushing D was gashed up the middle regardless of who was in at nose. Very concerning that a D set up to stop the run and leave it's CBs on islands cant stop the run. Kick coverage was awful again as well. I hate to join resident debbie downers, and it's great to win, but unfortunately I'm not feeling optimistic about the rest of the season.

Hindsight, but the f up was not moving to D1 at the same time. Had we moved at the same time, the entire FCS hierarchy is likely different than what it is now.

One thing to note for those bizun fans saying we could've had a home and home if we didn't demand a game every year, as soon as we agreed to that home and home the goalposts were moved. I have no reason to believe the same wouldn't have happened had we agreed to a home and home a couple years earlier.

I'm not real knowledgeable of the airline business, but one issue is Allegiant typically uses cheaper, smaller airports, other than its base in Vegas. Hence flights into Mesa and Sanford rather than Phoenix and Orlando. Not sure the demand would be there if the flights go into Boulder instead of Denver and then have to bus to Denver International. On top of that, if you have to pay $220 plus fees round trip to Denver and then another $220 plus fees round trip from Denver to Portland, is it still a good deal?

About 130 seats available there. Not bad.

That would mean 1-2 more bad losses though. The committee has proven in the past that quality losses are more important than quality wins. Tough to say what would happen at 7-4. Finish 8-3 and remove the doubt.
